Hi All

I have a question that I hope you guys can answer. I am an indecisive little rogue about all sorts of things, should I stab the mob in the back a lot or just a little bit etc.. but I am wrestling with a choice at the moment.. one of my guildies can make the Fel Leather Set and i am wondering whether to change to this set.

This is my current gear:

Is this a good idea? Am I a complete idiot to even consider it? I like having high crit percentage, I don't do PVP much...mainly instances cos, gosh darn it, I LIKE people.

Thanks for your help in advance.

Gnomes aren't people. So kill them.

Now back to your question. The Fel Leather Set would be a HUGE upgrade for you. It's the best blue PvE-gear. Your gear has a lot of stamina now, but in PvE you should focus on doing damage.

Try to improve your Attack Power. 843 is horrible low.

Don't use Strength gems and enchants.

And take Dual Wield, not Dagger Specialization. DW does more damage.

Fair points.

I was combat swords which is why had loadsa stamina, will change them to AP,+hit,+crit and +agi when I get the cash. Gonna respec to DW when I hit 70, although I like the added crit with dagger spec.

No, fel leather leggings and boots are THE best blue PVE gear. The gloves are only beat by the handgrips of assasination, but only because of the stamina, otherwise, by DPS they beat the handgrips. Hell, DPS wise the leggings beat out Midnight Legguards.

Check my armory, fel leather FTW. (I even have the handgrips warming the bench in my bank) :)

yeah the legs and feet are better than a lot of other gear you have available. the feet can last you through Kara if you dont get Edgewalkers.

It's kind of opposite what you think, fel leather is pretty bad for pvp with the complete lack of stamina. But as said it's great for pve. It's extremely underappreciated; almost entirely due to it being so damn cheap and easy to acquire. Many people would rather pay more or work harder for something that is less potent, I guess they see five fel leather at 60g a pop on the AH and for some reason don't even evaluate it but automatically think the epic for 1000g or blue from a 10-man raid must be better. Pick it up.

I have 90% of the drops out of kara. I still wear the fel leather boots because my edgewalkers haven't dropped yet. All epics, and those crafted blues. They are that good. If you are planning on doing any sort of pve I highly recommend picking up the fel leather set as starter gear. The hit rating alone on those are enough to take them over quested blues for starting raid gear until you can start getting the pieces out of kara.

Rogues in BT that haven't seen Edgewalkers still use Fel Leather boots.

Tru storee, I swear.
