I saw this weapon, and started to drool. Just turned lvl 51. Is it as drool-worthy for a Pally as I'd like to think? No +int or +heal, but that can be an enchant.
It's either that or Lightforged Blade (as far as I'm aware).
I figure to go get the IBS and then the Chivalrous Signet (instead of Lightforged Blade) from Pally quest.
Any thoughts?

If you are ret, it is definitely worth it. If you arent ret, respec ret and get it :P

As soon as I hit 51 I went to AV and got this weapon, put a crusader on it, and sailed to 60 smoothly. I'd definitely burn the golds on a crusader for it. GG GL.
If you are going for a 2H weapon, you shouldn't be healing.
For this weapon i agree with Crusader, if not +20 str, or +35 agi.

All good and well, as long as you remember that from level 57 there are Outland weapons in the AH that will blow your Ice Barbed Spear to the Moon.
So 6 levels of fun with it!

Yeah enchanting anything expensive on pre-60 ordinance is pretty self-defeating, you will be done with it VERY quickly Im afraid, especially with the new increase to experience gained pre-60.
There is a great density of pretty overpowered equipment at lvl58-63 designed to bring everyone up to more or less the same gear standard so the later quests are possible for everyone, and that IBS will get replaced during that phase, most like by the sexy polearm from Hellfire Citadel.
