Hey people, I was just wondering if you all think that the Demon Stalker set is worth getting. Thanks in advance for your opinions. :D

Judging from your gear, sure but you'd have to gear up first to be not considered liability to get demon stalker anyway.

You understand where the demon stalker comes from right?

Its alot of work for someone still wearing quest greens. You might want to try some lvl 70 instances first...

First: I would start getting beastlord set, then get desolation (It gets progressively harder, beastlord is from all regular dungeons, and desolation ends at the hardest heroic CoT1 for the chest peice.)

Second: Get heroic purples

Third: Start raiding and grab every hunter piece set and non set you can get.

BTW: I just got beastlord mantle 10 min ago, my group wiped 5 times, probably more, and I thought to myself "Boy my piece better drop" lo and behold it drops.

Beast Lord set is a good start.

Also, jump into a 5v5 and get some trash arena points. The Merciless Gladiator's Chain pieces, specifically the chest and the hat, are very useful even in PvE.

and not all pieces of demon stalker are good, mainly the shoulders are rubbish and the Beastmaw shoulders from karazhan are better.

I currently have three pieces and I'm looking to swap out the shoulders. They're not 'bad' per se, but as a survival hunter my main focus is agi... and the Demon Stalker shoulders have zero (well, I socketed mine with 2x 8 agi gems, but that's besides the point.

Anyway, it's a good set... but there are individual pieces you get access to BEFORE raiding Gruul that will probably work better. :)

If you are feeling masochistic, try leveling leather working and getting the Netherscale Armor This does require you to run heroics though to get the primals, and spend far too much time farming, or too much gold buying stuff. good luck with that.
