Hi guys
I've just hit level 30 and play a pure shadow specced priest, though inevitibly on any instance runs i end up being healer, which i still quite enjoy.
I was just wondering if anyone can tell me what gear i should be aiming for for my 30s. At the moment i've got most of the good blue instance stuff pre 30 but have come stuck as what to aim for now, esp for the slots like leg, bracers, gloves etc
Any help would be great.

int+spi gear from drops and quests should serve you well enough
blue items from instance are usually nice upgrades, though. for example, Acidic Walkers from gnomer are really nice and will last for quite a while. this "boss" is easily missed, so don't forget to find him when passing by all the green slimes.
then again, i wouldn't go into gnomer... it's cursed. /wipe on ramp to last boss
Other really worthwhile priest drops in the 30s:
1. Illusionary Rod (staff) from last boss in Scarlet Monastery - Library
2. Whitemane's Chapeau (head) from last boss of SM - Cathedral

if you are a tailor, around 250 (dont know the exact number, trainer is in magic quaters in UC) you can start to make all the shadoweave gear for yourself, it has mainly int/spi and of course +shadow dmg. That stuff would be good for leveling since more dmg, less mana, and faster battles. Good luck

additionally I always found it easier to run enough wsg for 10 tokens, and enough ab for 20 tokens for the level 30 dryid wraps and the level 28 defiler's boots.
again run the two for the level 50 dryid wraps and the level 48 defiler's boots.
(or level 40 wraps) those two items never left my side until I got something better in outlands. (and even then I keep the boots for the occasional long run down corridors for the speed increase.)
