I don't know what level you are, but "of the Eagle" (+STA, +INT) gear is your friend. +STA has priority over +INT, since STA=Health=mana.

Also, around level 40+ you'll start seeing gear with +Damage and Healing Done by Spells, +Shadow Damage, +Crit, +Spell Penetration, +Spell Hit. These are all things you should look for. There are cerain amounts of each that you need for certain things like PvP and Raids. So it really entirely depends on your level and what your planning on doing. Sta is needed for all of these though, so as others have said, that's a good place to start.

Hi,

I am now lvl 41 lock and my professions are tailoring/enchanting. I am playing at pvp server. I am also confused about the many possibilities of items I might use.

There is all these stats:
Stamina
Intellect
Spell/healing power
crit strike rate
hit rating
shadow damage
resistances
spirit
...

It's hard to know at my point where I should go. Surely I need stamina. I know that noone knows the aswer but some more discussion about the issue would be nice help. I have read FAQ and int vs. sta threats but I am still wondering...
The reason why I mentionen that my profession is tailoring is becouse I was checking what I could be able to make when I hit skill 300.

There was for example these 3 robes:

Robe of the Void
Binds when picked up
Chest(Robe)Cloth
109 Armor
+14 Stamina
Classes: Warlock
Requires Level 57
Equip: Increases damage and healing done by magical spells and effects by up to 46.
Use: Heal your pet for 450 to 750.

Flarecore Robe
Binds when equipped
Chest(Robe)Cloth
116 Armor
+35 Stamina
+15 Fire Resistance
Requires Level 60
Equip: Increases damage and healing done by magical spells and effects by up to 23.

Bloodvine Vest
Binds when equipped
ChestCloth
92 Armor
+13 Intellect
Requires Level 60
Equip: Increases your spell hit rating by 16.
Equip: Increases damage and healing done by magical spells and effects by up to 27.

Bloodvine Garb

Bloodvine Vest
Bloodvine Leggings
Bloodvine Boots

3: Increases your spell critical strike rating by 28.

I would probably go for Flarecore Robe. But I would like to know how does +damage and magical spells efects to my drain life or symphon life spells. Are those damage or healing spells?

I think my focus will be at +sta and +spell power. It would be nice if you could share some information about you're item bonuses and why are you going to this direction. Do you have some sort of rating system like in FAQ sta=1point 3int=2points?

And there is also armor on every item. I just bought highlander's boots and there was something like 106 armor when my previous boots had only 40 or so. Is there any use in calculations if the armor difference between items is this big?

Then there is another 100 possibilities to enchant these items but I won't go there becouse my head already hurts. I'll hope someone understod the writing and my dilemma about this issue. Thanks for any ansvers, sorry about my english

I put +Shadow Damage above +Spell Damage, because for equivalent level pieces, you generally get more bang from +Shadow than +Spell. I left out +Fire Damage altogether.

Please note that I removed +SPI. Spirit is not a warlock stat that you want to waste either time or gold acquiring. Similarly, I removed Crit Strike Rating and +Hit and replaced them with their spell equivalents. If you ever get hand to hand outside of drain tanking, you are gonna be one dead 'lock.
