Folks;

I just dinged 60 (yeah), and I'm in the outlands and killing orcs, pigs and all kinds of demons (yes, the pigs are demons too, but they look like pigs). My attack power was pretty low at 58 when I got there, and now it is up to around 750. What is "good" attack power while leveling? What is good for kara starting and ending?

As you start to replace your old world gear with outlands gear, you'll see a drastic increase in your AP, crit, and (if you don't ignore it, which you shouldn't) hit rating.

A good ballpark goal for starting Kara/heroics is 1200AP, 20% crit, and about 150 +hit.

Pretty reasonable to be able to get 1500+ AP in leveling greens, but only if you forsake your other stats. The key is to strike a balance. You always want to be at 5% or more +hit, and I'd never go below 20% crit if possible. Beyond that, it's personal preference really.
