yeah, I've been holding off on getting enchants until I find some gear I'll be happy with for the long haul... they've been on my mind though.
If you are serious with joining a raiding guild you'll have to change that attitude *g*. I do not want to sound harsh here, but make sure that your gear is enchanted as soon as you apply to raid groups.
A raid group will reach the next tier of content a ton easier if everyone has their stuff enchanted/gemmed to the max. BC instances do not allow for as much slack as the old raid instances like MC and BWL did.
The first thing I look at when someone applies to my raid group (and we are a rather casual raid group) is what gear has he and which pieces are enchanted.
No problem if there is not the best available gear on every slot, but I want to see that the person behind that toon knows what to look for on gear (I hate to see those fire mages with very low crit rates and those affliction warlocks with low spell damage but high crit and stuff like this).
The enchants usually tell whether someone tries to do good damage or whether he just wants to move along and let others do the job till he gets that phat loot.
Edit says that although I rambled a lot about enchants I forget to tell you that you are on the right track. You have the correct gear and only need 5 levels and those dungeon blues before you are ready to raid. For a BM hunter your agi is quite high and your AP is a bit on the low side, but that will change with better gear, so no problem here.
Spec is ok for leveling, but as soon as you start raiding you should think about changing some points here and there.
