About a year or 2 ago I played and I was on alliance had 44-45 war can't remember really and I was arms/offtank. I like to tank really I dunno why but I also like doing dps. http://www.wowarmory.com/character-sheet.xml?r=Maelstrom&n=Foupa at the moment. So any suggests like gears and specs (only been playing hardcore for like 3-4days had account for over 2months lol)

level 44-45, just concentrait on "...of the Bear" and "...of the Tiger? (agi/str)? I stuck with Of the Bear stuff, as well as instance drops. ZF is right around your range now.

For tanking pre-Outlands, just having a Shield and Plate makes you over qualified for MT spot. I've seen MT try to get away Dual weilding. I don't care if you're 5/5 on parry... get a shield Smiley: wink

I also stuck with mostly full Fury spec. With Tactial Mastery in the Protection line.

Check the Warrior sticky FAQ for a premade answer. Still works for me

When tanking the main stat you'll want around those levels is Stam.
Str is next important followed by agi.
Str for a little bit more bang per hit for rage gen, and also for increased block chance.
Agi for the bit of extra armor and the dodge chance.

Str won't do anything for your chance to block an attack. It increases your block VALUE, but that's another stat on it's own. Str will increase how much damage you absorb per block, and how much damage you do when you use shield slam, but it's kind of a crappy ratio at 8 str: 1 BV. It will NOT increase the rate at which you block attacks. Block rating and defense are the only things that can do that.
