OK...You want to know why I'd take Deadliness and Sinister Calling over AR in a 2v2 or BG setting?

1) Any player with the skill of a 6 year old will blind/sheep/fear/cc your *** as soon as they see/hear AR go off. Now you've blown AR and have nothing to show for it. Now what? Stunlock? Out of the question. Vanish? Gee, you already burned it. If I get feared/etc as a hemo rogue I'm coming out of it and if I already burned BOTH of my vanishes I'm putting 4 points on the target almost instantly...without an opener...without any positioning required. Try that spec'd combat.

2) You said it earlier. Control isn't everything. The damage from a Hemo that doesn't have Deadliness or Sinister calling is simply too low. Mace proc? Meh, don't bet your life on it. Oh wait....you have to, cause you have no other tricks up your sleeve.



You amaze me. I DO have the best cc in the game spec'd Hemo. Ever see a Hemo rogue stunlock a healer? I can ruin their day without even trying. A good Hemo rogue will make sure they don't get a single heal off during an entire 2v2.

Go ahead flame on. Slyyth you suck....blah blah blah. Problem is that anyone who doesn't agree with you, or play your style "sucks", and you're too stubborn and/or simple-minded to see that something other than combat is good for 2v2/BG.

I don't care how good you (think you) are, there's no way in hell you can stunlock a healer for an entire match, even if you're hemo.

Seriously considering making a 5v5 and just dropping it as low as I can, just to see who I get matched up with.

My point with "best cc" is that Hemo has more control than the other rogue builds. Stunlock can sucessfully be used as a cc. No, I'm not going to kill your priest/druid/pallie/shammie, but if things go well and trinkets are blown at the wrong time, I'm going to make his life so miserable that he will have a very difficult time getting any heals off.

Again....the intent of this thread isn't to proselytize Hemo.....that's a lost cause on this forum. Simply put, my point is that a well played Hemo build is not dead for certain activities (2v2 and BG).

OK....I'm done with this forum. Instead of having intelligent discussions on various topics, it's full of "you suck" comments from rude "Scholars" who speak to other players in condescending tones. Uh, I'm mut there, big boy. I have the best CP generation of any rogue build, and other than prep, I don't lose anything by going mut. Other than when I run into 7 (yes, count 'em, 7) warrior/druid or SL/SL lock/druid teams in 4/5 or 5/5 s2, there really aren't many teams that can stop my priest and I.

There is just so much that's plain wrong with your concepts of arena that it amazes me. Are you 1800+ rated? I am. Are you 1600+ in every arena bracket? I am. Are you going to be a Rival, potentially a Duelist this season? I am.

1) If I'm ARing, especially with a priest, there is nothing that can stop me, and my priest knows it. He knows when I'm hitting AR so I can be broken out of any potential CC, and anything that might stop me, i.e. blind, cyclone, etc either gets trinketed out of (whoa what a concept, I have a 2 min trinket and I use it to break the stuff I can't have my priest break with dispel or get out of myself!) or gets dispelled.

2) The damage hemo puts out is complete ****. If you try and argue that, I can come back at you and prove to you why hemo is an outdated move with math. The mere fact that you have to have ~3000 AP to make hemo purely more DPE than SS means a whole hell of a lot to people like me who understand what that means.

And really, you think you have the best CC in the game? Come to my battlegroup and go up against a mage/lock team that I went up against tonight.

I'd honestly love to see what your arena ratings are and which battlegroup you're in, because it isn't anything worth while, from what you know about arena.
