Hi guys, just hit 70 about 2 weeks ago. Been reading the forums since the first day i started playing a rogue. I've just finished gearing myself up with all the best blues i could from instances and quests. Now about to go into kara with my guild. Are there any better blues that i can get to replace anything? I'm thinking i might have stacked too much +hit over AP. I know i should probably get some of the veterans gear but i get bored of AV after about 2 games in a row.

I recommend you get Theo's UI.
If not, get atlas loot and Rating buster. Between the two of them, you can effectively compare any items from anywhere.
That being said, you've got some really nice ****. Nooble is going to kill you for you weapons, and I would kill for you trinkets (8 mech runs, 5 BM). Based on your stats, kara will be a cake walk for you. The only possible issue might be that your health is a wee bit low.

I've gotta say your gear looks about perfect. Weapons are excellent, hit rating is nice, crit is solid, AP is good. You dont need anything that I can see except, as mentioned by Arundel, your health is about 2k behind.

Going on from kara, you'll want more health. Granted, you never need more health, but if you get caught in blizzard and arcane explosion on Aran, you're dead. Or if some retards run run next to you for Gruul's shatter, you're dead.

sh*t, if you're entire group was extremely on the ball, you could probably do kara with 4k, maybe less.

Enchants:
Run Steamvaults 3 more times to hit revered so you can get your head enchant(Glyph of Ferocity).
You're revered w/ Aldor, get your new shoulder enchant.
Put 26 AP on your gloves.
Toss some cheap enchants on the weaps you have now. Fiery would be decent and cheap.
Gear:
Head: Helm of the Claw, quest for Steamvaults.
Neck: Traitor's Noose, first boss in heroic Slave Pens.(You need to get this unless your lucky enough to get the neck off of Attumen)
Legs: Midnight Leggaurds, last boss in heroic Slave Pens.
Trinket: Farm as many heroics as you can to get badges. Then get the Bloodlust Brooch to replace your Abacus of Violent Odds.

i actually have helm of the claw, but a few ppl told me that the stealthers helm was better. maybe because its got more gem slots, or because good meta gems cost a sh*t load.
and for health, usually by the time i have all the usual buffs from priests and druids, i sit on around 10k health or just under. so no big deal there.

Whoever told you that was an idiot. If socketed correctly, the Helm of the Claw will provide better DPS.
If you get 6(could be 8) Spirit Shards, there is a vendor in Boulderfist(terrokar forest) that will give you a Meta gem w/ +20 AP and minor run speed). That'll save you 100g+.
Honestly, I dont understand why people get that meta. If your 70, gold is easy to come by. If you are going to go cheap on something, dont go cheap on your meta. 12 Agi and 3% crit bonus for pve is a substantial boost. If you feel for pve you need the run speed bonus then get the 6 agi + minor run speed enchant for the boots.
Your gear is very well chosen...
- Work on CE rep and get the damn helm enchant
- Get your weapons enchanted... or hurry up and get exalted with aldor, buy the sword, and then put mongoose on it
- Probably should put 40ap/10cr enchant on your pants instead of stam/agi
- Put 26ap (or 15agi) on your gloves (26ap is really cheap and 97% as effective)
- Could go with 12agi on the boots... forget how much that one costs...
- As it stands right now, you don't have enough gem slots to even activate the 12agi/3% crit gem (or the haste one) so both are out of the question currently. Helm of the claw is a bit better than then one you are wearing simply because of those meta gems. With an ap meta socketed it's not a big difference. I personally never bothered with my helm of the claw... black bloodfang is just too cool :)
