New server ******* rocks. Many people playing, actual crafted items/boe world drops/items of any kind on the AH. New guild is a good group. and theres a guild in actual bt/hyjal ocntent. guess what that means? Belt of deep shadows. Gotta start farming the 1k gold /primals. it'll take me a while since i dont play much, but thats the best pve dps belt for rogues as far as i know. Zomg wow is fun again.

I just transferred over to one of the oldest servers, and am going through the same thing. An active economy rocks.

I know I loved moving servers. The economy change was just awesome. My tips on lockboxes almost tripled!

Yeah nooble i know how it is. I moved from one low pop to another to play w/ friends, but when they either quit/left i was stuck. server really died and it just became a chore to play. I seriously considered mannoroth and a few others before a couple of us guildies decided on lightning's blade.

I wonder what would happen if the moderaters would post a few of the rarer recipes/items once a week or so on the ah for the less active servers. it might wake the community up a little.

No, it would just help stock up some of us richer (before i spent all my cash cause i only got on to pvp) people stock up on kool **** before we moved. You cannot save a dead server. Trust me. They just get ignored. There will be no "server merger" or "free x-fer off" blizz only does that when a servers pop is too HIGH so people threaten to quit because they CANT play, as long as you can play, then they dont care.

1. There are no "moderaters" on servers, there are GMs.
2. The high level recipes don't do **** for you when you can't get the components.
3. The items would become so ridiculously overpriced that only a few people would ever be able to afford them.
4. It would completely skew the PvE progression. Let's say you manage to get most of the better items from the AH in this manner, but your server's best progressed guild is only in SSC. Since there's nothing there that you need, there's no reason to go, and a potential raider was removed from the pool.

In short, it's a completely awful idea.

Nooble are you trying to imply that there are people who only go on raids to get the gear and not for the thrill in engaging the next stage of Lorecraft?

How DARE YOU??!?!?!?
