Hello, for Improved Hunter's Mark the tool-tip says: Increase Attack power against the target by 110, up to 440 max.
so if i have the improved hunter's mark 5/5 then would that whole 440 get applied to my groups DPS? Or just the base 110.

Just 110. The bonus only applies to ranged.
Read the description of Imp Hunter's Mark and I think you will come up with the answer yourself

i suppose giving ALL the people in your raid a extra 575 attack power would be a little over-powered....
