So being WSG weekend, I spent what little time I have away from the family playing it.

Well this one match there was this well geared arena Tauren Warrior(the shoulders give it away for me) who for some reason loved to kick my *** again and again...and again(as if I didn't have enough trouble with warriors anyway!?), he would just see me and ignore all for me until my health was zero. Bleed effects ftl.

Since I couldn't defeat him back to get my revenge, I thought I'd just annoy the hell out of him. Well this guy was on top of charts with Killing blows and when I did catch him alone I stealthed in and sapped him. When the first sap ran out, I'd do it again, and again the third time. Then I'd follow up with a Cheap Shot > Mutilate > Kidney Shot and.....ran away.

I'd restealh and go back and the diminishing returns on sap would be reset, so I'd start it over again. I did this for at least 10 minutes not letting him move.(lame? Ya maybe..fun? Yes)

Surprisingly he didn't have a pvp trinket and he didn't catch me with stomp or demoralizing shout(Dirty trix), I don't know how I got out of that one but I did end up killing him a few times(when an ally jumped in) and repeated this until the match ended.

If you can't beat 'em.... /shrug annoy 'em? Smiley: lol

Usually, I do the same thing as the warrior, only I pick on a warlock. I know that many people roll 'locks and get into PvP for EZ-mode HKs, so I make it my business to demonstrate the scissors > paper relationship that exists between the two classes.

Yeah, you can fear/dot everybody else to death, but let's see how you like CoS, biotch!

I must confess that I do do the same thing to warlocks, because as you said they do usually kill just about everyone with ease.

It's just those bloody Orcs and their stun resist that get on my nerves. Smiley: lol

I've had that happen to me up until a few months back ... well a year+ back until 5 months ago when I was active on the bg charts. playing warlock druid rogue s/priest you name it. I always had a few of the opposing side aiming for me after the first 5 minutes of the game. they would ignore the healers if they saw me out mainly because I would be all over the place. gourging/blinding a paladin to let an ally healer get away, kicking/garroting ect the mages, feral charging their healers, sicking my felhound on the paladins, fearing their big group so the flag carrier can run right through the middle, shifting out from bear/kitty/sform to heal if I saw them ganging on another character.

there's nothing so annoying for them as to see the guy whom they spent 12-18 seconds to pull from 100% to 15% standing there pound them from 100% to 0 % because they were stunlocked from behind or suddenly find the 15% is suddenly 50%.. or suddenly lost target as they are running away in fear and find themselves getting burned down.

Good luck and good hunting. You don't need to do the most damage to be good in bg. you just need to be effective at whatever you choose to do.

i had a holy paladin do this to me once in AV. 40 f*cking alliance to choose from and he decides he's going to run ME down with his overpowered +20% mount speed aura, then judge justice on me and SLOOOOWWWWLLLLYYYYY dps me down with hsi 1h and seal of righteousness.

sad thing is, i couldnt kill him. no warrior can kill a smart paladin in the first place, but this guy was actually decked out for damage in addition to being smart. i cant snare him (bof), he has two bubbles to choose from, over 14k armor (shield + plate) and a murderous desire to kill me. maybe his little belf *** was molested by some night elves when he was younger, i dunno.

thankfully his dps wasnt THAT great. i got him to blow his trinket on an intercept (for some reason....) and then feared him with shout while forbearance was up. ran away a bit until my friend caught up to us and we destroyed him (destroy being a relative term here).

Meh, I usually double everyone's KBs in WSG just because I usually go in with my priest and run around below the Alliance GY. Soon everyone is so frustrated that they don't even go after the flag anymore, they just try and kill me.

I rated you up for being very rogueish! I've done similar stuff to warriors in bgs. Sometimes i just can't win and well i'm not gonna let them keep top chart if they're gonna use me to stay there. Sap, blind anything i can to stall them and eventually they'd fall in the chart over time. I know it really gets under their skin too.

Yeah topping kills is awesome if thats what your gonna go for. I love to just play support in group fights. I'll pop sprint garrote a mage tab+blind a pally kick the lock and then go back to the mage or whatever caster is within ss/KS distance. Nothing amazing, no ^ OCNSECUTIVE KILLS ALONE ZOMG. but it keeps everyone alive for a bit and allows us to regain momentum. and as a human, yes i know. alliance typicaly does not go for the flag.

Thanks hehe, another good tactic we can do is if there is someone chasing down the flag carrier, boom stun lock! Gives the flag carrier some nice breathing room for 10+ seconds and he's on the other side of the map by the time you're done with the stuns(if they're not dead).
