I was thinking what would be a good Arena team when im 70? Lets say all of em 2Vs2 3vs3 5vs5

Is there any specific races that would be good?

I was thinking A warrior and a healing pala? is that good?

i'm sad to say, but hunters are pretty bad in arena.
The place you'll do best is probably in 5v5 where you'll be (hopefully) left shooting in the back.
For the rest you want good cc, dps and 1 or 2 healers.
Oh, and before you start arena fulltime, get at least all the BG epics + decent lvl 70ish blues.

(the epic crafted gun is pretty damn good too with its 27 sta)

My arena experience (extremely little as it has been) has been pretty dismal as an SV Hunter. I know that BM is supposed to be "the" Hunter spec for Arena, but I'm not that serious about it that I want to spend 100g/week respecing for 30 minutes worth of Arena matches.

My first arena experience was on a 5v5 team with some people from a guild I had just joined. They were all pretty much brand new to arena and weren't expecting to win. On the 10th run, they even went so far as to unequip all of their armor and do the fight naked. We went from a shiny new 1500 rating to just over 1300 in the course of 10 matches.

I just joined a 3v3 team last night with the MS Warrior and Resto Shammy I run instances with. We're taking it a bit more seriously and after 10 matches we're 2-8 (we do our best to win but we know we're badly outgeared in most fights and the people we're up against often have way more experience than we do). We're all very well geared for non-heroic 5-man PvE stuff, but we're just starting to put together the Honor/Marks for non-arena epic PvP gear.

The next patch will change Wyvern Sting to an instant cast ability (wee! Finally some reliable full-range CC!) That will help. A tiny bit. We're mostly into the PvE, however, and we're each looking at certain pieces of Honor/Arena epics to enhance our current PvE ensemble. Much as a paper doll covered in purple would please the hell out of me, I know PvP gear isn't necessarily the best suited to PvE endeavors. (Although the S2 crossbow would be bloody sweet if it weren't for the heinous delay.)

More to the point, the difficulty I've noticed is that every team who has beaten us has gone directly for me. The pets, the DoTs, the fireballs and the feral druids chew me up, then our Shammy, then our Warrior. I just don't have the armor/resilience to stand up to focused fire like that, so I spend a lot of time in spectator mode cursing traps vs. trinkets and the 8 yard bubble around me where I become little more than a spear toting punching bag.

Oh yeah.. i forgot to say that.
Spec MM, its the best PvP sec for 3v3 and 5v5, BM is best for 2v2.

Something like this

I'm gaining a bit experience Ãn Arena PvP during the last weeks (reduced raiding schedule and I can't see those dungeons & heroics anymore).

I've done a bit of 2v2, 3v3 and 5v5 during the last weeks.

The first thing I've noticed is that it is really hard if you are not specced for Arena.
I've done all matches with a strong PvE oriented survival spec (I have currently this spec).
In 2v2 I play with a quite undergeared friend (a enhancement shaman in quest blues) and we do not stand very good chances (~1300-1350 rating). We have next to no healing, we have very few crowd control options. The only tactic which seemed to work was hoping that the shaman is attacked first and that we can burn our opponents down (heroism is nice here) and interrupt heals. If the DD dies before any of us does, we have a chance. If we fight 2 DDs and one opponent dies before I do, we have a chance, but 2v2 with this setup is not very much fun.

3v3 I play with a holy priest and a affliction specced warlock. This is much more fun. The main problem is that our priest has next to no PvP gear and if he gets focused by two DDs he goes down fast (sits at 7k HP buffed *g*).
On the pro side we have two fears, some traps and huge damage output and if we can save our healer long enough we normally win the game (currently a ~1500 rating).

5v5 we have a rather good team. We play with one healer and 4 DDs (MS warrior, frost specced mage, destro specced warlock, holy paladin). Since we are weak on the healing side in our team we have to protect our healer while burning an opposing DD really fast (with the mage, hunter and MS warrior focusing on the same target we usually can kill that target really fast). We formed that team two weaks ago. We have between 0 and 2 gladiator set pieces and 0 and 2 pvp epics and all of us are specced for PvE content. We currently have a 1535 rating which I think is quite ok for our limited experience gear and spec.

In all of those games I noticed a few things while playing my hunter.
- I have no real burst damage, although I usually have the most damage done during a match, but next to no killing blows. That is no problem as long as you focus the damage. A hunter can deliver a huge amount of steady damage. But there are no big single numbers and there are no real burst which can kill an enemy. So when you form your team, make sure you have at least one DD with good burst damage.
- As soon as someone attacks me my damage is reduced by ~50% (due to many interrupts) and I cannot defend myself very good (trap gets decursed, wingclip and frost trap only slows opponents).

If we decide to focus a bit more on PvP I'll likely respec for PvP and take two of those three essential talents I currently do not have (scatter shot, wyvern sting, silencing shot).
All in all hunters are a bit weak in arena but with the correct spec and a matching team setup hunters can do quite fine in arena.
I believe if you build a arena team wich includes a hunter I would build one with 4 DDs and only one healer. With 3 DDs including one hunter you would not have enough burst damage to kill your opponents. Additionally just sending a pet after the hunter can severely decrease his damage potential due to massive interrupts which would make the hunter the weak point in a 3DD 2healer arena team.

Marks hunter (damage+frost trap+silence+scatter)
Ele/resto shaman (earthgrab+purge+offheals)
Holy Paladin (healzorz!+buff)
MS Warrior and Rogue (killkillkill!)

that should make a pretty damn nice 5v5 team.
With 3/4 dps profitting from TSA, the best buff class in the game, pally bubble+healing, Earthgrab+frost trap huge kiting zone (and harder to escape from war+rogue) Instant Chain heal if nessecary.

Yeah, that'll be neat =P
Or maybe replacing the rogue with a druid for cyclones...
