So... correct me if I'm wrong, but in a few weeks/months we'll be able to buy S1 armor and weapons for honor points.

Nice, for people like me who don't play arena (yet). Good stuff will be available easy and cheap, and if you saved some honor you can get it right after reaching level 70.

But what are the consequences? The S1 gear is better than the reputation rewards, better than profession-made stuff (bye bye Fireguard/Blazeguard) and -though focused on PvP- better (or at least around the same for PvE-purpose) than most of the blue instance-drops and quest rewards.

Stuff like Vindicator's Brand, Riftmaker, Latro's, Helm + Shoulderpads + Leggings of Assassination etc., it won't be worth all the time and money anymore. Running instances over and over again to get that drop? No more.

So, what's gonna happen? And should rewards and drops be improved? Just curious about your thoughts.

i dont think so... a rating system like way back in the day would be nice... but i aint gonna complain

wanna do it pure? go for it! no one is forcing ya into it

wanna be the best? get the raid gear, its better then pvp gear for raiding

but on the flip side...

wanna try a new spec without being gimped as all holy hell? grind for a few days

like collecting far too many items? tons of weapons to get

like have twin pvp sets (one stam focus, one hybrid pvp/offense? one kinda aiming for resistance?) ? makes it more possible

its got a lot of good points for doing this... and since karazhan bosses will drop hero badges, theres still use there... a lot of people cant grind bgs seriously... i mean all the 60 rogues werent in GM/HWL blades pre-expansion

i know i wasnt

itll add to the fun element, but it definately will add a lil trouble as far as scrubly raiding for beginners... thinking just cuz they are full epic pvp gear, they rock house at raiding

but a rogue with 380 resil full epix pvp set is prob losing in raid dps to someone in just moderate raid gear

the weapons are kinda gonna be OP for most, but hell... whatever works :)

I might affect the optimal gear choices for fresh 70s and the easiest way to obtain them, but for anybody who has the opportunity to do heroics or get into Kara, it's just an easier way to get immersed in Arena play, which is something I really looking forward to.
