I just picked up the quest: The azure key @ lvl 50, requires a ST run (i hate that place!)

Just curious as to what ya'll picked. I'm thinking the mask is prolly the most beneficial. What did you select?

No matter what you have now, take the Duskbat Drape. The other 2 pieces will be replaced pretty much as soon as you set foot into Outlands.
The cloak will have a use forever due to the "safe fall" effect, even if the stats aren't going to be good forever. You just pop it on when you know you are gonna fall.
If you don't like that reasoning, then take the Ebon Mask. It will easily last you to Outlands, and maybe a little past that.

Good god man if you think thats bad you should have seen what I was wearing at 50.

The boots raise your stealth level by one, which is much more of a letdown then you'd think. The ability to distract effectively raises your stealth by a lot, and the stats are nothing to write home about.

I'm at the same spot as you but I just need to kill Morphaz. I'm planning on taking the cape.
I went with the cape. It was an upgrade for me as I was wearing some +7 agi/spi of the wolf cape.
For the Morphaz part, A buddy and I did a stealth run to them when I was 53 and he was 59. We could get Hazzaa to about 1/4 before we died. You cannot separate them any longer so its tough. We came back with a warrior and hunter and were able to get to them pretty straight forward.

I took the boots, seemed the best for me at the time(seemed like years ago). I say take whatever gives you the best stat increases because they'll all be replaced soon anyhow!
put it this way.
1. mask. replaced before you leave hellfire peninsular.
2. boots/ effect replaced with the master's threads. average 50-90g on most servers but good until your first raids. boots itself are replaced when you reach zangermarsh.
3. cape. effect replaced with the skyguard rep cape.
