/p Sheeping %t, if you break it dont QQ when you die.
/cast [target=focus] Polymorph

That's the gist of the macro I'm using. Pretty much took the sticky on the OBoards relating to macros and copied the macro from it, and added in the "/p...die." line.

It works perfectly as intended, I think, however I have a problem that arises when I try to switch targets. Is there a way to add the ability to change my focus or simply to remove it so I can switch to another target (assume we got adds and I'd rather poly one of them as my original target is at half health now). Or is there another macro I can use which would aid me in this?

Or is there something I can do with the current macro as it is that I'm just not doing right?

You could simply add the following line on top

/clearfocus [modifier:shift]

Holding down shift while casting this will then simply replace your current focus with whatever you're sheeping now.

Okay, new question:

Will the %t say the focus target, or the DPS target? Since I'm only level 12 on my mage right now, I'm not really grouping much (that wont come until late teens at least), and I'd rather have my macro working how I want it to before I get into a group.

so, this is my current macro (updated with Alast's help):
Quote:

/clearfocus [modifier:shift]
/focus [target=focus, noexists] [target=focus, dead] [target=focus, help]
/stopmacro [target=focus, noexists]
/p Sheeping %t, if you break it dont QQ when you die.
/cast [target=focus] Polymorph

%t will always refer to whatever you are currently targetting.

So in other words if I am sheeping mob A and the group is DPSing mob B, if I have mob B selected and I use my macro it will say "Sheeping mob B..."?
How do I make it so it says "Sheeping mob A..."?

Nevermind, I figured it out. %f says the focus target (I tested it with /s instead of /p). Thanks for all the other help though!
