Hey,
I'm a lvl 55 (half-way 56) warrior that find it really borring and slow to lvl.. I just switched prot (which I know is slow but looks like same speed to me), so I'm write to know if you have any tips to how to lvl as prot? should I go quest or just keep instancing a maniac?

55 ARG!!! I rerolled mage at 55 I hated my warrior that much lol. Thats seems like a tough time. Yeah play with specks stay interested. I went 2h fury. Prot maybe a tad tough unless like u said just spamm the dungeons...brd has some cool stuff but I would suggest maybe going dps spec (w/e u like arms/fury) and just put your head down and start grinding through those BS levels. At 57 go outlands to the demons by portal (lvl 58 low hp) With rested I was bangin 1096 xp a pop on em. So on OP I have no answer except to just grind em out 55 sux!
Yeah I was 2hand Fury also. Arms just never did it for me when you get deeper in it. Fury offers some nice moves (like the HP on 10 hits move). Top that off with your magic 200HP mushroom when you run UB, I'm sure the downtime would be close to nil. It also offers melee haste abilities, top that off with a counterweight and your 2hander is starting to look like a 1 hander 
I changed over to Protect/arms because mobs were getting harder to tank at 64ish. I'm glad I did it... in instances, but as for leveling, I notice a big difference in speed/downtime.

I loved that lvl. It was so easy with rest it was retarded.
Go to wintersprings as a Arms with Second Wind. Theres 55ish yetis, about 2 times a fight they will freeze you, which procs second wind. Which is ALOT of rage and health to grind forever, I remember grinding there for 2 hours straight and I think I only healed once and it was because some noob tried to gank me.
Once you get to 57 it gets alot easier because you can buy some outland greens for less then nothing on AH. I'd go for "of the Bandit" once you can wear it.Then you can go the place scholar said.
