was looking at these in the enchant section, and I was curious which is better for a shadow priest. +40 spell damage also affects healing but soulfrost does more damage and with ve and vt is the extra 14 damage a better return then the +40 damage/heal mix would be?
soulfrost definitely. The +heal mix is next to useless for us. just don't bother getting it on anything less than the mindblade/merc gladiator weaps
Don't get soulfrost on anything that you arn't going to keep. It's a pretty expensive enchant so you save it for something that will last you quite a while.
Right. If you don't raid, I'd wait till you get the Lower City mace, if not the Season 2 dagger. Likewise with Prince dagger or Season 2 for raiding.
Soulfrost is incredibly expensive - I should know - I just spent 500g on one. If the weapon is s2 arena or from SSC and above I'd recommend soulfrost, otherwise I'd go spell damage as you would likely replace it sooner than later.

kk, was just unsure if the 40 damage/heal would be nicer because after it does damage if it would also increase the heal back on it or not. and I am more of a casual player. probably would raid to kill time until wotlk. thanks for te replies guys.

U've had ********* of patience then... I spent around 120g on mine even tho I farmed the mats I could (with voids of the guildbank) >_<" - not like 120g is that much, but I still invested a pretty bit into farming.

I am an enchanter. But supporting 4 lvl 70s means I am perma out of mats - esp Large pris shards (which go for 22g each on my server).

well pre 70 40 spell = beautifull and at 70 the first thing i would put sf on would be the curator staf or the nazarizim mindblade or prince dagger and sf on every thing after that but pre 70 u will be asked to heal and sf is useless to u plus who the hell wants to frop 500 g on a chant fror a wep u will replace in 5 lvls
