ok this has nothing to do with cloaks but it does have something to do with daggers.
I'm almost a lvl 50 rogue (haha I bet you was expecting me to say drood, but I didn't.). I'm full combat specced with sword specialization.
Now for my question; Is it spelled rogue or rouge? Heh just kidding. Well I am but not today. Right now I've got 2 swords but I'm wondering if it would be better to get a faster dagger in my offhand. I ask this because I have combat potency which procs on offhand (haha on off clap on!). But daggers don't proc the extra attack from sword spec, right? So would it be better for a sword-dagger combo or a sword-sword combo or a double cheesy bacon combo, hold the onions of course.

A fast sword would be ideal.
If not though, I'd stick with the sword in the OH anyway.. just make sure it's not past say, 2.2 speed.
The damage from Sword Spec, plus the fact that when it procs it will give Combat potency 2 chances to proc, should make up for the speed loss I think.
If not, who cares? Level to 70 where it might matter :P

I thought that the sword proc uses your mh for the swing not the oh. So potency wouldn't proc twice.

Correct. Unless your making a change from somethin like a 2.6 OH to a 1.4, you won't get a damage increase by getting faster.
I think what he was getting at is that if you have an off hand sword it will proc sword spec attacks from your main hand. Faster swords in your OH will proc sword spec more (it's % based), along with more CP. On that note, start looking around the AH for a hanzo sword...
Yep, Hanzo Sword looks like it was designed for a sword spec rogue's offhand. I got one on my rogue and I'm still using it at 60. The price on my server varied from 30g up to 60g. Just camp the AH and look for a price you can reasonably afford. Good luck.
