So I rerolled an orc hunter the other night. I am now at level 6 and I have gotten NO new abilities yet. Every trainer I go to has nothing listed. What's the dealio?

P.S. I can't wait to sneak into Duskwood and get me one of those Black Widow looking spiders.

you failed and you have to kill yourself now.

seriously, you get a quest to visit the damn trainer and that same trainer sells you your new skills for gods sake.
If he/she doesnt, send a ticket to a GM.

On the top right corner of the hunter trainer's window, there is a tab to adjust the display setting. You can tick whether to show what skills are available, unavailable and even which skills you've already been given, I think. Check to see what setting that is on.

At level 2, your first NPC should have given you a quest to go talk to your class trainer. Did you receive that quest and see the trainer at that point? If you're at the right person, then my guess is to check the tab mentioned above because you should have access to new skills at levels 2, 4 and 6 by this stage.

(P.S: Yeah, those Black Widows are pretty sweet looking)

Yea I did all that. I got the note to take to the trainer and whatnot. Said she'd show me the ways blah blah, come back when you are ready. So I did, first at 2, then at 4, then 6, nothing. I fiddled with those filter settings...no luck there, but I'll check again.

Its really weird though, this is the eleventh character for me and I haven't encountered this before. I even played a Night Elf Hunter to 22 months ago, so I kinda know a little about the class.

Actually it's level 1, 4, and 6. Most people just dont go until level 2 because they cant really afford the 10c anyway. Level 2 is actually the only even level where skills are not available, and level 1 is the only odd level accessible with the vanilla package where a skill is available.

Like has been said, you have to visit the hunter trainer, check to make sure you're at least displaying available skills (and if not try learned skills maybe you trained and forgot), and if that doesn't work open a GM Ticket.
Also (although you probably know this) if you get a skill it wont be on your action bar until you hit P and go to your spell list and drag the ability to an action bar.
