We’re still working to provide everyone with an immersive and challenging experience in Zul’Aman, and we hope to be able to share more information in the coming months.

Months? They said 2.3 is the Zul'aman patch. They have also said that season three will start sometime around 2.3, could be a while folks.

Yep. And for those asking, season 3 is likely to start either coinciding with or some time after the zul'aman patch (patch 2.3).

This annoys me greatly. I honestly though S3 was going to start this month... but it seems we still have months to go. At this rate even my mage alt will have 5k arena point saved up.

I guess I might as well go ahead and get 5/5 Merc, since at this rate I'll be sitting at 5k Arena point for a looooooong time...

Why would it be anytime soon at all?

2.2 was JUST released, what do you expect?

I expect Season 2 to last as long as Season 1?

Like Blizzard said it would?

Considering S2 didn't start with a patch, I don't see how patch 2.2 being brand new has anything to do with anything here?

Pointless snarkyness 4tw?

2.2 was on the PTR for like 3 months, mainly because they broke nearly everything in the game at some point. 2.3 having an entirely new dungeon along with likely dozens of other major additions/changes means I'm not expecting it until late November.

I guess I should remove 2.3 from the title, my real 'issue' is that they want to make S3 come out at the same time, which is dumb. :(

Erm. S2 did start with a patch.

and that wonderful clusterf*ck in area 52 between all those alliance and horde crammed into such a small area.

it only lasted as long as it took people to realize there were alternate vendors in org and SW tho :(

S2 started with 2.1.1, about weeks after 2.1.

It was patch, of course, they got to patch the new gear in, but it wasn't a content patch and Blizzard has said several time the seasons aren't linked to the patches.

I'm quite happy that they're the willing to take the time needed on zul'aman and sunwell - props to them! But I don't quite get why the Season has to be pushed back.

It's not like I'm going to go kill more raid boss with my uber S3 resilience set, but I'm starting to feel somewhat gear starved for pvp (I can upgrade my S1 piece to S2, but the piddly dps upgrade is hardly worth losing the 35 Resi bonus).

Has 2.3 even hit the PTR? I would expect at least 4-6 weeks after it hits PTR since there is so much they are planning on doing. I shudder at what they think is a hemo 'upgrade' after what they think is an upgrade to Lolstep...

Where is the vendor in SW? I was just in the knights quarters this morning and didn't see him.

They are long gone. They stayed until the rush on season 2 stuff had subsided a bit.

lolstep is...entertaining.

Its great for those nights when you're on the verge of a psychotic break and just want to yell at wow.

"Come on hit me hit me hitme! *lolstep* Where'd I go *****? Huh? Can't catch me now! *cheap shot, backstab, kindney shot* What now *****?"

Not that I've ever done that.....

Looking forward to Fleetfooted buffs and Dirty tricks buff in 2.3 I cannot wait that long either...grrrr.

On the Lolstep conversation. I was in a BG yesterday with a Gladiator titled Rogue. He had the gladiator maces equipped and was Shadowstep specced. He would open every fight up with a Shadowstep > Garrote and mash away, and he was first in Killing Blow's with zero deaths.

I was very impressed, at first I was like Shadowstep Garrote huh? Smiley: dubious
