Hmm 10% less threat for 10% more AP. Thats a tough trade off to call.

I think its in addition to the AP from improved berzerker stance. They would have no reason to remove the AP increases :/

it currently gives 10% more AP, he's simply asking (quite sarcastically) if the talent is worth taking.

10% ap... well, it's the most straight forward AP boost we have. And for just DPS purposes it is the best thing we have at this point, for talent points.

Im sure Jim knows imp zerker stance is a fantastic dps increase.

I was thinking because he said "trade-off", that he was thinking the 10% ap effect from imp zerker stance was going to be replaced by 10% threat reduction.

JIM, come back here and elaborate on your post. >:(

One can only hope that it's combined with the 10% AP. If not...hrmm. GG thx

Sheesh, you people.

Fairly certain that Jimp is saying it'd be a tough tradeoff if they _replaced_ the 10% AP boost with a 10% threat reduction. It wouldn't be, though - it'd be a pretty massive nerf. Not being threat capped is nice, but if the reason you're not threat capped is that you're doing a lot less damage... it's not so good.

Yes I ment it as if 10% AP was being replaced with 10% threat reduction.

I say trade off cause the earliest we would see this (from what I gather from the blue post) would be in WotL. Hence we would have talents beyond our 41 pointer so we might be doing enough dmg after with the new talent points to be at the threat cap again with the loss of Imp zerker in it's current state.

If it is in addition to the 10% AP increase then I think I just wet myself a little.

EDIT, not to mention new gear, being level 80, etc. et.

Another happy time for fury...

I heard in an interview with a member of the blizz team that the new talents are going to be designed so that they are optional, not necessary like most of the new ones in BC were (Rampage, imp zerker etc)

That means that we can finally go down all the way to rampage in fury and still reach sword spec in arms.

Couple that with the threat reduction (please don't take the increased ap away) and we got ourselves a lot more dps :D

Oh Yeah!!! 2.3 is on the PTR and the news is out, the threat reduction is in addition to the extra AP :D

Fury Warriors Rejoice!

Edit: It looks like Imp intercept is now an arms talent >.>
Though fury now gets weapon Mastery, which, due to the new expertise skill taking over weapon skill, means we should be getting more crit or AP :D
