It goes both ways; a 64mb video card cannot display 1900x1200, no matter how big your monitor. But a 256mb card with a 17" monitor can't either.

This is false. My Macbook has a 64MB video card and displays any resolution setting I want. Smiley: wink

edited to throw out that I use a 23" display with my laptop which does use a 1920x1200 resolution.

for some reason, your UI makes me lag really really badly, i know its not my comp or internet (played on my laptop without your UI and had no lag, and my laptop isnt nearly as good as my desktop). was wondering if maybe theres a particular setting or something i can put on to fix it so i dont have nearly as much lag. Ive tried redoing the UI (redownloading it and putting everything back in) but it didnt seem to help. any suggestions?

It would help to know what you're running in your computer.

I have a 3 Ghz P4, 2 GB RAM, 256 MB gfx card and it runs perfect on my computer.

If you're running anything less than that, I'd suggest sticking to the default Blizzard UI.

Quick question...

I DL'ed this. Like the interface a lot and some of the mods. Took out what I didn't. However, one thing I am not a big fan of is when your screen kinda glows read around the edges.. I think it's when you gain aggro or maybe just when you go into combat. IDK. Any idea which mod controls that so I can click it to "Off". It's the only thing I couldn't find on my own. Otherwise very nice. Thanks!

Its a threat thing.

Mine is set up to flash when you pass 90% of MT threat. If you raid do not get rid of the, its crazy useful.

I think its in omen though, maybe threat-to-ktm

ah theo. iam gonna be using your interface.

But first off what about my previous addons? i loaded the full cosmos UI a long time ago and some other stuff like freebagslots, totemus and poisoner. I use the atlas map addon. I have metahud [will be trying out icehud].

Is there anything i can salvage for use? What all functions does your download cover?

Thanks for the previous reply, and sorry for another comment to think about.

I saw your picture of your computers (image) and of the 3, I was wondering what you did on all of them... (Obviously you play on one of them, but still.)

(Sorry for the off-topic.)

Sharedmedialib is part of my addon package. I use a custom texture that I got from Tapestry (from both omgphatloots.org and the oboards) for my bars, which I just rename to "Dabs" and toss in with the rest of the SharedMedia textures, overwriting the default Dabs texture.

Can someone explain me how to apply a texture. Again I asume this is done through pitpull, but I cant find where to put textures on it. Ive been looking on the net for it, but can not find in ><

My UI will provide all of the functionality that those addons do, if not better.

It's only 2 computers. The laptop in the middle is hooked up to my 23" monitor on the left of it. I use that for browsing the web while I'm windowed into WoW, Hellgate, or CoD4.

Applying a texture is rather simple with how I do it. Download Sharedmedia/Sharedmedialib and you'll get many of the textures that I've been talking about. If you want to apply a new texture, take the texture file you want and rename it to overwrite a crappy texture, like Dabs.

So should Sharedmedia show up in my ACE2 config window? Because thats not the case for me.

Sharedmedia is something that other addons use, not something that will actually have a direct menu.

You edit the textures in the sharedmedia folder outside of WoW.

Amazing Ui. Makes everything look a lot smoother, easier to handle.

It took me about an hour to figure everything out and get it working to my specs, I love it. This is the best Ui ive come across, I've been exeprimenting with different ones, photeks good, but this is better.

Great job bro

I would like to agree with the poster above me but in a less obnoxious way.

I run a 1024x768 resolution and am tempted to download this compilation (i use photek right now) however im hesitant because i dont know if it will work with my current resolution?

Might it be possible to download it and just adjust everything or is it something that wont work unless i have a res similar to your Theo?

Any help would be appreciated thank you.

btw the UI looks great and i hope im going to be able to try it

Thanks for the encouragement guys and gals. I'm gonna be working on v3 today and tomorrow, since these are my days off.

Don't ever expect a smaller version, since just making a 1680x1050 takes up more time than I really want it to. If someone wants to work with me (sending me screenshots, etc) on making a smaller version I'm fine with that, but please don't ever expect more than my normal resolution size.

Im having a problem with the UI.
A screen pops up that says "attempt to call a nil value".
This is random,(or at least it appears random, I havent seen a pattern yet) It might not happen for 5 mins, or it might happen 3 times in 5 secs. Especailly during fights. Does anyone have any idea what is causing this?

It seems to be happening when im getting a buff/debuff

Disabling Eleeks (Not sure on spelling) Buff bars seems to take it away.
