Mount at 40?Follow

Hi, i'm druid, of course, and i was wondering, does it worth 90g + 10g to get a mount at lvl 40 for a druid. I mean , i have my travel form, Dash from cat form if i need to escape... But does if really worth the 100g?

I have 175g in my bank, so i can afford it, but i would spend more than half my money... but i don't really know what else to do with that money ;)

If you're not feral buy it at 40. if you're feral buy it anyway as you'll end up buying it at 60 so you can ride an epic mount anyway.

Yeah, get your mount for sure.
A)It's noticeably faster than travel form.
B)You can run through mobs without getting "dazed" all the damn time. You can get knocked off your mount which sucks but it's not all the time like getting dazed.
C)All the cool kids have mounts.

If you're going into battlegrounds, you need it.

If you aren't, you still need it, but not necessarily the second you ding 40. You can wait until you're comfortable spending the cash, or until the long run across STV crushes your cheaper instincts.

lvl 40-45 doesn't seem too bad, you can probably get through it before you even get a mount.

but later, as you head towards 60, it'll feel like you're running forever to get where you need to go.

my suggestion would be to get a lvl 40 mount. you obviously know how to get money for your toon. when you hit 60-62, just do more of it to get the lvl 60 epic mount.

i waited a few times on 2-3 chars to get the lvl 40 mount. i have to say that, in fact, you won't even really miss the money, but you'll be glad you got a mount. money is something you need if you're into buying things. if you can curb that off, other than paying taxi fare on the flight paths, even when you have 5g to your name, then you can rebuild the funds over time.

Just got 40 on my druid and it still seems very slow. Maybe it's the bigger perspective of the mount or the fact that I am used to Epic flyer. Anyways, didn't seem like much of an upgrade from travel form. Having said that, it is of course faster, and you need the skill for 60 epic. Get it anyway.
