Here is my current gear and build.
http://www.wowarmory.com/character-sheet.xml?r=Smolderthorn&n=Vulk

As I quest and grind toward toward 70, I have a few questions. How would you guys round out the build. I usally open with CS,hem, SND, SS for a 5 pt rupture or evisc depending on their health. I was thinking of improved slice and dice but I'm not sure if the longer duration is that important. I seem to have little problem keeping SnD up as it is. I know my gear stinks I have problems finding instance groups and mainly just solo and quest by myself. I am currenly 95% PVE with the occaisonal BG to break up the boredom.
After 70 I intend to try out arena, and try to find a larger riading guild (my current guild is too small). Also as far as the Outlands go I so far have only explored HP, ZM and TF (still questing in TF currently). So I guess my questions are

1) what next for 5 talents and in what order
2) any quests/gear I should look for and hold onto along the way
3) any general advise for overall build respecs etc

thanks in advance guys
This is my first post so flame away.

For someone PvE oriented I'd reccommend you respec to combat swords. Your current build is a mess. Check out the guide nooble has at the top of the forum - follow the links to a good build.

And also, this community tends to murder people who ask "how should I build my build" questions. It's better to dig around and do some solo research before posting something the regulars have answered hundreds of times.

Happy hunting.

Its an AR / Prep build. I actually dont mind it for BG's and double dps 2v2 but with that build you really need to have the gear to back it up. The big issues with your current build:

1. If your focus is PvE there is no reason to not have 3/3 Improved SnD.

2. If you want to raid / grind / PvE go combat swords. AR/Prep does not have raid viablily. MoD/Camo have no use in a raid at all, so that right there is 10 points giving you absolutly nothing once your in combat.

3. Blade Twisting < Crippling Poison. Use the right poisons for the right situation and spend two extra points elsewhere.

4. I know your only 65 but 1 point in deflection? If your focus is PvE I wouldnt reccomend riposte at high end. Most bosses are immune, this one can be argued a bit. Honestly, check the sticky and check out the combat builds there. Going full combat doesn't mean you can't pvp too. I do just fine as full combat swords, MoD/Camo is honestly a crutch we dont need. If you want more PvP edge with a combat build you can go maces but itemization is crap so its kinda only available if you stumble across the right weapons or grind some honor for the HWL (or soon S1 stuffs)

*edit* brain malfunction, swapped a couple words around.

No, I have nothing against AR/Prep situationally. I'm saying that he said he was 95% PvE oriented and wanted to look for a raiding guild where an AR/Prep build doesn't shine.
