Does anyone on these boardsFollow

actually participate in the t5/t6 raids? I see a lot of people theory-crafting about 25 man raid specs, and people just flaming others ideas about specs/play style, but when I look at their armory, it doesn't seem like they have any experience outside of karazhan, gruul's, and possibly mag.


Just curious.

BTW, you don't get rep in T5 instances, nor do you need attunement.

That's right, I forgot, too many people QQing about attunements.

lolz. I got the one from Attuneman and one from Aran first ******* night. haha.

Take solace in the fact I have seen 1, count it, 1 Ripper ever drop (on my mage and/or Rogue) and when it did, the ********* ******* enhancement shaman got it. He argued that Earth totem was leaps and bounds better for any group makup than WF. Good god.



And I have only seen 1 Malch ever, and that was on my mage like 3 weeks after Kara came out.

all of kara
gruuls lair
all the heroics im keyed for
got my ssc attune quest done, before it became unneccessary
been to ssc, been to loot reaver, been to doom lord kazzak, been to mag

no loot from any of them, didnt kill those guys the times i went >< but the point stands ive seen most of it


and considering im hybrid pve/pvp (well now i dun raid so ya... lol) i did pretty well using my raid basics from before the xpac

so while sure, i aint the best example of a raider... i know i for one have enough experience to tell people "yes you need 3/3 ******* imp slice and dice" "no, dont use envenom... and wound poison is damn near useless in raids" "millenium blade is not a good sword... for either slot, but it is def not a main hand" "sub/combat builds are not better for the raid then 20-41 combat, i dont care about the hemo debuff (as of 2.2 anyways)"

and many other common knowledge things, most of us are qualified

and builds that dominate kara are good everywhere save mutilate builds vs posion immune mobs..... the raids change, the boss strats change, but the raid builds do not

i gar-un-tee a geared rogue with epic mh sword and epic oh sword will do more DPS in 20-41 sword combat then 5-31-25 hemo

so when someone asks "is this build good for raiding" we know which ones are tops... so regardless of playstyle, we know what works.... theres a difference between doing the job, and doing it well

and we arent gonna teach people to just do the job :) if you wanna learn, learn it right... ya dig? :)

Done all of kara so many times I want to puke, done Gruul plenty as well. Joining a raid guild that's on Astromancer in TK and working on Vashj (7% is their best so far, probably gonna down her this week).

As for those who say they've never seen a Malch or Ripper, one of my old guilds got so many we started giving them to hunters. Malch dropped every other week for a couple months, Ripper about 2 out of 3 times.

the guild I am in goes to SSC/EYE. Why is it a probably not situation? It is not hard to get Kara on farm, and Gruul is hard until you get a group that knows when to move.
