Mine would be doing PvP all day and your 5v5 logs on and your all getting ready to go. You check your reagents and have 1 blind powder. You go to the AH, no blind powder, no fadeleaf. Thats when I hearth as they queue and frantically pickpocket for junkboxes in desperation to get powder before the match pops... thats usually when the lock is yelling at me on vent to touch her bubble as I'm opening boxes in the prep area.

Throw this in there: always getting beat by Hemo rogues. They think they're the ****. They only win 'cause they get the damn opener all the time.

armor class leather
#11 Oct 05 2007 at 12:21 AM Rating: Decent
Being the supposedly most versatile class concerning movement (Leatherwearing Light attack iirc from Blizzards description on class, which was the reason I rolled a rogue as my first toon) and having NOTHING to compete with in regard to warrior-movement unless you spec deep into Assassin (and who wouldn't trade the warrior ability for Fleet Footed?).
I don't mind wearing Leather with substantially less damage-reduction than Mail/Plate BUT we should get something in return, namely mobility.

I honestly think we should have a trainable ability that resembles Fleet Footed speed increase and have the talent Fleet Footed get a buff for snare-resist (10->20% would be super, id love it).

I mean, A platewearing maniac with a heavy 2-hander being just as fast as us + Intercept/intervene? Nonsense!

Clothies might complain that in that case they should get faster too as they are draped in cloth - but we are AGI not INT, so there, it should yield something when it comes to movement.

my pet peeve is fleet footed not stacking with any other speed increase. it makes fleet footed pretty dam useless except for.. oh wow 15% chance to resist traps. I'm pretty sure a +30% speed druidic kitty would love the 15% chance to resist traps in exchange for only walking at + 8% speed. or maybe any dam speed increase enchant which gives the same dam speed.
I wouldn't mind the speed increase being situational if they would add maybe the possibility of it being stackable like + 8 % indoors? on hard surfaces? well I heard it's going up to 15% so looks like we're not getting kited by mages warlocks or any other dam class with + speed to boots any more.

pet peeve=vanish being frickin broken for ages now...then patch comes out...oh wait, still broken.

but as thesmisker was saying, warriors have their invercept skill...i believe that perhaps something that would be a nice uplvl-able skill that ought to be added to the combat tree is a "blink strike" move. an out of stealth move with approx. the same range as intercept that pops the rogue right next to his target, gives a combo point and maybe tosses a little dmg in as well...not asking for a stun, but at least the combo point/instant travel to enemy would be marvelous...out of stealth that is.

You'll be happy with the Shadowstep-change in patch 2.3...
Although, it won't generate a combo point.

ha ha wow, not sure why i just read that, but awesome. I agree that those ppl are annoying as hell. however, I have a new pet peeve which i just remembered. A while back i was in SLabs and suddenly and without reson, the server goes out. This was Silverhand and my party had just started to fight the 3rd boss...like actually fighting him when the server went down. about an hour later the server is back up. I log on and poof...logged back out almost instantly. try again...repeat of kicked, again, again. try an alt...works just fine. turns out, this same problem happened to EVERYONE in an instance when the server crapped out. so put in a ticket to talk to a GM. 13 hours later (totally serious...i timed it) i finally get my ticket answered. about 5 mins before me, a friend had his answered and the problem was cleared in about 1 min for him. my Gm then has me attempt new things for the next HOUR before telling me that i would have to wait again while he refered me to someone higher up in the tech division. another 2 hours later...lo and behold...it took the guy 1 try and about 1 minute to fix my account and he had no clue how the GM hadn't known how to fix such a simple problem that had happened to dozens if not hundreds of players already.

to sum up...Inept Blizz employees/inept Blizz is my biggest pet peeve as a rogue or any other class.

I despise fighting pally's in bg's and getting their health down to almost nothing, then having them bubble, heal themselves completely, and then have some other ******* kill me.

I love it. You ever see a huge dog get absolutely shamed by a tiny little #&$% of a furball. I have, and guess what they go right for....

I kind of feel like that vicious little ******* showing everyone who's boss.

No there isn't.

Heartbeat resists were removed from the game.

That was even before 2.0.1, wasn't it? Same patch that reduced the max duration of all CCs to 12 seconds.
