Do I dare follow the path and see what all this muti-hype is about? I have blade of the unrequited sitting in the bank, but not sure how a 1.6 offhand will work. Its sort of the ******* odd-ball son of weapon speeds, but those sockets do make it tempting.

It's ALL neilyo's fault. Making me waste 1.5kg like that. Shame D: I will definetely keep my maces, maybe mut isn't right for me. When I hit 70 I used 2 Ced's and hated it (maybe 'cause my AP was under 1200 :P). Who knows, mut does look more fun than combat imo.

That's actually the only spec BotU is decent for.

Sockets + decent damage makes it a pretty good OH for Mut.

Not for any other specs, though.

I could grab the dagger from Keepers of Time again to mainhand or wait for a ripper/malch and give it a shot. I needed a bank slot a while back and vendored my old dagger.

mutilate is awesome, i used it for a very long time (and i still occasionally respec to it). it just has to be played right, it can actually do more damage than combat situationally--the situationally is big, though, damage sucks on poison immune mobs or when you have to move a lot and stay behind the boss. you might as well get S2, S3 is coming out relatively soon and you don't want to make your gear TOO obsolete. plus, one week is nothing. gratz on your new S2 blade!
