I can't wait to get my kitty. I am 17 and so far it has been frustrating compared to other classes that I have lvled.

my friend and i both started druids, to start off in same place lvl together you know what i mean. i was just wondering, are two druids a good combo? feral that is.

2 ferals = stealth runs to get your gear. no 2 ways about it. you're going to spend a little extra time in instances for gear but the good news is you can find a rogue or 2 and all of you spend a grand total of 1h to kill all the bosses in a instance that normally takes 2 hours. then run it again. probabally skipping a few bosses and only hitting the bosses you need.

I don't think it matters in the lower levels. I was questing with another feral last night and I would tank and stuff and he would heal and throw in the occasional roots to stop running mobs and throw in the occasional wrath too.

Totally agree with the point about stealth FTW, but balance and resto droods can Prowl too, eh.

lol never said no to that but if adequately geared an omens feral druid is still counted as a feral druid even though they heal well.

Moonkin Form (or colloquially - Doomkin, Boomkin, Battle Chicken) Is very capable in all aspects that PvP encounters may require. The armor of the chicken makes him reliable whenever the mob you're blasting comes into melee, but without Rage and feral tanking talents (too many to name that make a Bear a good tank) and skills (Swipe, Taunt, etc.), he (the balance druid) is unable to tank in dungeons and raids well enough. That is - in the chicken form he can't tank, while in Bear form he's ability to generate threat is too low to make it sensible.
Balance/Resto spec can make you a reliable healer and a blaster, but all in all, it's something I believe too... shapeless. And GODS this bird is so ugly.

But hey, it might be wise to go Balance at level 40, because you can a) check it out and b) use something a bit more viable at that level, because Feral gets his best toys at levels 50 at best (Mangle) and in 60-ies (Maim, Lacerate, Lifebloom - great when you need to heal between shapeshifts, particularly in PvP when you need a spell cast instantly so it can't be countered)

If they do, it is not often enough to take into consideration. The biggest thing that kept raids from excepting balance/feral druids was actually Innervate. When that became a trainable ability it eased the pressure greatly for us being only resto specced. Not to mention the crit Aura's each specc gives you. Feral the extra melee/range crit + heals, balance the plus spelldamage, and resto the plus healing.

Yea you will be uber pwnage. That is if you have the skill. Playing as a Moonkin is generally considered tougher then feral and reso. This is probally do to the fact of how skilled a player has to be to maintain his mana through both Spelldamage and healing spells when needed. We are, in a way, like shadow priests.
