OK, While grinding on the elites in Wetlands I got bored and decided to try something. This is what I did.

Charge, Rend, Thunderclap, hamstring,

Turn away and run back a bit.

Zerker stance, Intercept, Zerker rage,

Battle stance refresh rend, and thunderclap throw in a battle shout if it is below 20 seconds and finish mob off with an execute.

My question is does this work in PVP? Or even in later levels. Cause if so I just found an easy way to level as a Protection warrior.

could work till you get feared or what not rember common mobs have less tricks than players we're ment to beat them if we couldnt no one would play game. pvp is alot diff and just cause you toast one mage all day there maybe one to take you down or what ever class. alot has to do on the player i'm not that good at pvp but i consider my self a better pve than pvp player.

Wooo, that's one long way around to get to your goal (a dead mob). On top of all the fancy stance changing, which is not a bad thing, you'll be basically kiting the mob around. Gathering all sorts of possible adds... but the MAIN thing is you said PvP server. That much moving will get you spotted faster than pulling a mob by a tree or wall/mountain, and killing it.

To answer your question. In theory it will work. However, if you get a link then that's a very bad thing in PvP. Two mobs = 2x the damage = 2x the lowering of your HP per that fight.

You can give it a shot, but for me that's just too much rage usage/loss per fight for me to go for it. A lot of time I start a fight with 80% rage bar... do your

Then change to Beserker, even with 3/3 on Tactial Mastery, you'll lose rage.

All and all, I say just straight up fight the mob. The faster it's dead, the sooner you can get to the PvP if needed.

One of the reasons I started trying this is

1.) I was getting bored of swing swing swing thunderclap.

2.) Ive never used intercept before this.

3.) After I did it the first time fighting these mobs. (somewhere between my lvl and to lvl 28 elites) I noticed I had alot more health than if I had done it the way I was trying before. (Mind you my gear isn't the best, see sig for details)

4.) this became more of a mini game that I started doing just to keep it exciting. I mean slow hit after hit gets boring quickly and I figured if I could stun the mob 2 or 3 times in a row, finish him off and have a ton more health with a fresh charge available on a new mob and 3/4 health I was good to go.

Thats All I can think of. I know it's a lot of work to do for killing a creature, but I only move far enough away from the mob to intercept it stunning it quick enough to pop zerker rage.

I need to hit 34 so I can equip my Scarlet Chest piece.

I really don't know what gave me the idea to do this... maybe just to play around with my options on this character I guess. Have not gotten a single kill on him from pvp.

I thought about this a couple of weeks ago as we were waiting for kara to start and I concluded that you actually take 3 times the damage you would if you were fighting one mob. This is due to that 2nd mob beating on you for twice the amount of time as the first one

As for the Op, there really is to much stance changing to be really helpful. I'd just stay in Zerker and pull them to me or body pull them. Because there is alot of wasted rage happening.

Also you really shouldn't need to be full prot until 68ish Half fury half prot would speed the leveling process up a lot

I know. I just think I am stubburn about not respecing if I don't have to. I am still use to games like Diablo 2 where the only way to change your points is to... Hack. Bleh.

using intercept like you did (as an offensive ability to control instead of to catch up) is a good skill to practice for pvp, and can serve you well in pve and pvp if you need to lock someone down. but otherwise, the rest just seems like a whole lot of work for not much gain.

but hey, if youre having fun....
