...just how freaking awesome enhancement shammies were. We downed HKM for the first time last night and for the first time ever I had an enhancement shammy in my group.

BT topping 3.7k, HS crits of over 2.4k, (without deathwish mind you) and he knew how to totem twist. Talk about one happy warrior.

I got the greatest line you could get for a first time kill as well. Clicky.

You didn't emphasize enough! Though I really wish I had reset SW stats for that fight. Thats a compilation of 6 wipes, one full fight, and two trash clears.

True. But there is a difference between saying they are FTW and saying "OMGWTFBBQ THEY ROCK!!!!!" While I wouldn't take it that far they are far better than they were described to me.

What topped it off for me though was him saying he felt honored to be in my group. Apparently I have a reputation for being a good player. Wonder where that came from :S
#7 Oct 04 2007 at 8:58 AM Rating: Decent
dont know i've never been told they was honored i just get added to some friends list and get random invites then again i think i get off some of them depending on how group does ie they dont assist i tell them many times they keep it up i let them solo mobs and i keep them off healer only or the other dps.

edit:

like i tell them your not a hunter and i'm not your damn pet you dont wanna assist on mob i have marked for you they you can deal with them mob maybe next time you will make a hunter or lock to help deal with your non assisting a55.

Lucky you Jim. My resident enhancement shaman goes out of his way to gimp my dps by not dropping the totems I ask for. He gets caught up in trying to out-dps me in his full epics, unsuccessfully of course.

Grats on Maulgar. My guild got their first Maulgar kill a few weeks ago. Good lord its such an annoying fight.

These were our first serious attempts at him. We had some trouble with our mage tank going down a bit early so we switched some of our better healers off the priest/shaman tanks and put them on the mage. That did the trick for us.

Once we were able to burn the priest and lock down and still have our other tanks up the rest of the fight was a cake walk. Other than intimidating shout being a pain in the *** (made me have to blow shieldwall instead of saving that cooldown for reck sexicute time).

Forward to Gruul now.

wow xordon, way to be late about it ;)

Grats on maulgar, I think just about every one of the more frequent posters have said that enh. shams are def. full of win though :D. Pretty much must haves in 25 mans!

Oh it's not that I didn't know they were a great party dps booster. I just didn't know to what extent. Just from the extra rage I had to dump coupled with being able to dump it without reprocussion was incredible. Most of the time when I "go all out, it has to be burned down NOW" I end up with aggro or having to hold back to keep from getting splatted.

We all know what happens when you let go of the threat reins on a dps warrior. I think I may have literally had a smile from ear to ear. lol

Last time I went all out during DPS was pre-BC during an Ony run.
Tank was in full T2, i was in mostly blues with an epic or 2..
Ony hits 20%.
Deathwish -> recklessness -> spamming execute.
i pulled aggro fairly quickly :)

I'm not allowed to go all out anymore with the tanks I currently have to work with. Sure, they're not bad and do about 1k tps, but when reck executes come into play and using my trinkets and pots 2 mh swings in 1 execute cd = too much rage = bigger executes = 2k tps at least :(. Plus we don't have a decent enh. shammy anymore.

yes xordon, I have noticed that you haven't been posting much :)

also j', you have the ring[s] that i want /glare

I didn't actually get to reck sexicute spam that fight. Tank got caught in intimidating shout while I had deathwish up. I'll give you 3 guesses who was second on the threat list and your first two don't count.

However due to a similar thing happening on nightbane a few weeks ago I was alot quicker with my fingers this time and got shieldwall up before I got turned into a greasy spot on the floor.

And russki I love my rings as well =P

You probably got some gear I want but I don't know your charater name and you don't have an armory link in your sig.

it's a huge secret, i'm actually a gnome warrior that's level 13 and i troll the forums too much ;)

I don't think I have yet NOT pulled aggro on nightbane... However, I have "soloed" curator from 19-0% when he starts evocating or whatever. I call it the [insert my name here] challenge.

On a more serious note, my gear isnt toooooo great, it's pretty well balanced, but passing on the ssc gear i could've gotten to other people in my old guild really put me behind...mainly because of the fact that I left that guild and joined one that JUST started killing gruul last week... however, I'll do you a favor and link my armory in a pm :)

The effects of an Enhancement Shaman. I didn't even have Leader of the Pack and messed up my trinket order somewhat (haste pot didn't go off in execute range), but managed to a rather nice DPS number on our first Teron Gorefiend kill last night. Twisted TA meant I didn't pull aggro either!

I love our Enhancement Shaman.
