How much did you pay for Tomes?Follow

Ever since about 55 I've been searching the AH for the tomes of conjure food/water/AB. Haven't found AB yet, but after about a month I bought the food and water tomes for a decent price. Bid on food (15g bid, 25g buyout) and won that auction, and recently figured 25g is about as low as I'll ever see tome of conjure water, so I hopped on that buyout when I saw it.

I keep seeing brilliance for 40-75g though, currently I've been cheap and haven't ponied up yet =D

But my mage is 64, so hopefully I'll find it for ~20g one of these days. How much did you pay for your tomes? I always thought it was weird mages and druids had to buy theres, I had a tome of water drop on my warlock once and I gave it to a guildie mage alt (who is now 70).

I heard back in the day people were paying 200-500g for these tomes =O

The most I have seen them go for was around 100g right at the launch of TBC on my server.

I got water from the guildbank and bought the other two for about 25-30g a piece.

Personally my AB dropped in BRD so i didnt have to pay for it.

On Scarlet Crusade, I bought my AB at the AH for 40G, most money I've ever spent on a single item. The water and food was 15G I think (each). Actually, I don't remember getting the food tome. I'm not sure there was one? But I'm positive I've the highest rank food.
