There is a thread in the Rogue forum that has people throwing links of the worst geared/specced rogues they can find in some sort of sick contest. Its endlessly entertaining. SO, here goes a warrior-flavored version.
The resident idiot warrior in my guild caught my eye. Good lord I am SO happy he is not indicative of the rest of the guild:
Hummis
He has 41 points in arms, and he dual-wields (all the time, no 2h pvp). Specced blood-craze, endless rage and improved mortal strike. 'Nuff said.

Get the Gauntlets of Martial Perfection! No +hit, but nice when stacked with +8 Strength gems or you can mix with +hit too, they make nice for soloing. Gotta down Gruul though >.<

I'm no experienced warrior, lost the focus with mine around level 16, but i'm experienced enough as a player to know a lost case when I see one. The guy who's name I don't remember(probably because that was traumatising) was tanking in Shadow Lab and we didn't have a priest or shamy to use an anti fear, result: we wiped three times in a row on the same felguard. After the first one, I told him to switch to berserk before they feared everyone, we tried again and wiped. Why? the guy tanked this time in defensive stance! Last time I asked him if he heard me right the last time and told him again ton tank in zerk, result final wipe and we gave up. I asked him why he didn't used zerk the last time, his answer: "I only have two stances, battle and defensive stance". The noob never heard about zerk!!!

for him to not have zerker stance, that's ...... not right.
for you to say he has to tank in zerker stance against felguard, that's ..... not right. even without draenei/priest's fear ward and shaman's tremor totem, felguard can be tanked successfully in defensive stance.
imho, he is not as 'lost' as you said despite the fact that he doesnt have zerker stance. at the very least he tanked in defensive stance.

What exactly does he do in your guild ... tank, pvp, dps ??? I can't seem to make any of these roles stick to him.

I thought about starting a thread like this when I came across this guy in Arathi Basin. I didn't understand how a non-afk non-healer could be doing such little damage until I armory'd him.
41-point arms warrior without mortal strike but dual wielding, just for starters.
And this warrior was in the same AB at the very same time. He has good gear (most of the BG pvp rewards), but 51-points (yes, FIFTY ONE) in arms and dual wielding with a 29 hit rating. He was doing marginally more damage than the other warrior I linked. At least this one picked up MS.
Ultimately, it's just a game and you should play however you enjoy. I just imagine how much more fun these warriors might be having with a different spec or weapon.

is there a way to look up someone with out knowing name i know a lvl 47 prot warrior who had no tallents in right spots looked like my 1 year old picked them for him. man wish we was doing pallies also i would log inand look up a prot pally in my guild (iguilded him at start of group i should have known better) who didnt use the +60 threat from holy damage i had to watch agro finaly after not being able to just ms once i started tankingfor him.

Wow...I'm not an expert on warriors but it seems to me that he has way to many put in 1/5 or 2/5, if he would have focused, it could have been worse.
AKA. (In case that didn't make sence, I confused myself a little :D) It wouldn't be as bad if he put those into 1 or 2 things.

How in the hell....does a lvl 70 warrior have only 860 atk pwr?
I have more than that in almost full tank gear and tank spec!

I know my warrior is a noob, after all he's my first toon and they're meant to be noobed.
Would be specced fury but in my desperation for money I sold my dps shoulders, tho with the ragesteel recently out i might be able to go back :D

Hahaha, well thanks. Honestly I thought the rogues in that thread were BAD. REAL BAD. But the ones linked in here, oh man. Serious stuff.

Yeah, I think Pdinkero wins this round. For me, it's the 5/5 sword spec AND 2/5 mace spec that sets him solidly in the lead.

Theres nothing about being "elite" here. Doesn't it make you wonder how someone can play for 70 levels, and be so utterly ignorant or stubborn that their talents are so so horridly skewed and misplaced?
I've talked to Hummis (the first guy I linked). He is an ignorant buffoon who is convinced that his current talent set-up is the most efficient one for his style. I've given him allak links, told him to look up the numbers. In the end it is his decision, you're right. But man, I'd be lying if it weren't fun to belittle him for it.
You don't have to take part of this thread if you don't want to. Just don't rain on our parade. :)

This kind of amazes me as well since my Warrior has 1192 atk pwr and has only been 70 a few weeks, is geared in mostly mid-60s quest rewards and craftables and is prot spec to top it off. I probably look even worse in Armory simply because I seldom log out in my tanking gear (what little of it I have so far) and so my gear doesn't really match my spec well most of the time. I dual-wield simply because I have 5 points into one-handed weapon specialization and I really do seem to kill things quicker than when I try using a two-hander.
I'm slowly working on upgrading my gear but I don't instance as much as I'd like to and I get distracted by alts a lot as well. I still love the game even though I am not a super player and I have never gotten a complaint about my tanking ability though I know I have a lot to learn.

I was going to one up this post with my armoy link, in tank gear and full prot i have 1k+ ath power, but then i realized that last time i logged out was during the brewfest.. hence this armory link
hell i have more even in that state :D note the 'undefined' buffs and mainhand
