Hello fellow paladins, I'm hoping to get some advice.
I'm a holy pally lvl 58 currently, and don't have BC.
Are the level 60 purple PvP armor from Champion's Hall ie. Field marshal's lamellar items as good or better than outland's greens and blues?
I keep hearing how outlands greens are far superior than any of the old world items. I have a bunch of honor and marks and was thinking of spending them on the purple PvP set and I don't want those items to be outdated when I finally buy BC.

unless its gonna be a while before u get bc then id go for it but if not save it oh god save it pvp gear is nice and all for that time but the outland gear will be farrrrrrrr superior than that to the 60s pvp gear.. its better to just keep it for 70 pvp gear and/or the season 1 arena gear which probably when u buy bc the 2.3 patch will come out making s1 gear cost honor

my friend pvpd his head off for some lvl 60 fist weps and in less than 2 hours in outland he replaced em.. -.-

Yea: if you plan on getting BC, don't get the level 60 stuff. The only items I have ever seen anyone still wearing from pre-BC once they hit, I don't know, 63 and up have been Tier 3 set pieces.

The epic pvp shoulders (Horde pallie here, not sure if gear is the same) and boots are worth it, those lasted me until 64ish, just wanted to put that out there.

For the most part I'd say no. Yes there are a couple exceptions to the rule. Definitely recommend getting BC, last time I was in the store the price had gone down.

Thanks for the feedback so far. That's what I was afraid of. Sad to see old world lvl 60 Epic purple's obsolete in the low 60's to BC greens.
