SnD Changed?Follow

I remember reading in the patch notes that that Deadly Throw will not have the option of granting a combo point when used and there was some concern, due to the wording, that Slice and Dice too would be unable to grant that extra combo point because it doesn't do direct damage. I've been fiddling around with it and I've been unable to get it to proc. Can anyone else confirm/deny this? I can't play right now since I'm inbetween classes otherwise I would test it out more.
