Ran into a guy like you that last night. We had finished SSC and ppl wanted to finish the kara we started on Friday. We were one healer short and someone said "hey I have a friend who is a Pally that will come heal" so we brought him along. Turns out he is a Prot paladin with a healing set and specced down the holy tree a bit.
Clearing trash myself and the druid are neck and neck for top healing spot on meters, I am leading by 2-3%. The other paladin is 18% behind both of us. Ouch. The paladin starts talking about how he can tank too, and our Prot pally t5 tank is sitting in vent (not in game) so he checks out armory and finds all sorts of problems with the guys build, the guy tries to defend some of his decisions but really against a tank who does SSC/TK content he isn't able too. So we decide to let the pally tank trash and he gets ripped apart. Not long after he leaves group. We are nice guys, what can I say.
So we get a Balance Druid to replace him, has a +1500 healing set, claims to be able to heal Kara. We start going and by the time we get to Prince fight he is 20% behind me. He also stole the frickin healing cloak from me, it would have been a side grade but +5 more healing and more stam/int but still
. Make me work harder and stealing my loots! Silly off spec healers.
