Dropped last night and I spent more dkp on it then I should have. Then went and ran Kara Cleared Shade to Prince. Not a single proc that I could notice. Not good odds. 2% proc rate, flash of light every 1.5 seconds, sometimes a holy light. Nothing. I might give it a week before I shard it.

Don't shard it. I thought it sucked when I burned my DKP on it, and it did for awhile. But it is worthwile in SSC/TK IMO, because you don't usually think about the proc, so you're happy to notice when it drops. And it is quite decend at that level, because there aren't many too many good healing Trinkets, or at least some of them aren't very easy to get.

Well as far as i know it won't proc for FoL since it restores 600 mana and FoL costs 180 or so. So it will proc for HL, also i think illumination will only restore 144 if the trinket procs ( the base cost will be 840 - 600 = 240 and 60% of that is 144 ). Anyway try using all your mana on HL and see how many times it procs out of all the casts.

I forget where you are in progression but if you're up through gruul you probably want the trinket off shade, and either a LCP or Xi'ri or whatever crit trinket, depending how much crit you need. Honestly I'm beginning to think that the shade trinket + the badge trinket is possibly the best combo of trinkets for a healadin until you get the exalted BT trinket

You know sometimes I feel like the final boss in Seth halls "Mmm trinkets!" I've got such a collection going ><

I was unaware of Gruul's eye sucking before I took it. Now I wish I could give it back. I wonder if it actually has an icon that pops when it is working, cause I haven't seen it and I have had it equipped all week.


I know exactly what trinket you're talking about, its off fathom. In all honesty, don't bother with it. A.) There is going to be, like you said, a huge bidding war on it B.) There are a lot of retarded raiders that would get mad at you, since they see that as a dps caster trinket C.) By the time all the dpsers get it, the rest of your gear should be good enough where you don't need crit on a trinket at all.

i got the eye of gruul a little while ago
the proc rate is way too low on it to be useful
i quickily put my shard of the scale back on 16mp5 is sexy
can't seem to find a trinket that can replace it yet
