Quivers - not showing on Tauren?Follow

#1 Sep 30 2007 at 9:09 AM Rating: Decent
Greetings all.

A question regarding a purely aesthetic thing, but, why don't quivers display on Tauren? The Hunter in question is male, and carrying a Medium Quiver, yet it doesn't show up when using the bow.

I found this screenshot (http://i.thottbot.com/ss/o/4389.jpg), clearly displaying a Tauren with a visible quiver. So I'm just wondering if I missed something, an Interface option, or similar, but I honestly doubt it. Would anyone be kind enough to shed some light on the issue?

Many thanks in advance. :)

Eccentrica Gallumbits?? We have an intergalactic triple breasted ***** posting finally!

*ahem* As for the quiver, I can't say that I've ever noticed an actual quiver graphic on my dwarf. Maybe I'm just not attentive though. Maybe not all quivers have a graphic that show up on the character's back.

I'm not very helpful right now. It's past 5am.

Any input is welcome, no matter how sleep deprivation influenced. :)

I don't think it's the quiver's fault, though. Light Quiver shows up on Blood Elves, but not on Tauren. Can anyone confirm this as being a "Tauren thing" or have I actually flicked an option off by mistake?

Quivers only show up when you are using a bow and when shooting.
If you have a gun or crossbow they wont show up at all.
At least, thats my experience.

Aye, that's true. But I just can't get them to show up on my Tauren, even in those cases.

dont know what it is then, maybe just a bug.....
you can contact a GM for it (although they will most lilely tell you to delete/rename your WTF and WDB folders and try again.)

Also this is prbably a duh you can't see it when using a 2h weapon because it overlaps it when it gets strapped to your beack when firing

Thought of that, so tried putting my sword in my bags. Still nothing, I'm afraid. :)
