Mornin fella's an female fella's...

I'm just looking for some infomation about how to make my mutilate spec better.
I really don't like combat spec and would be very uset if I had to respec to a combat mace spec.
I'm curently working on getting some new gear so don't go bashing that right off the bat please..
Armory Profile http://eu.wowarmory.com/character-sheet.xml?r=The+Maelstrom&n=Tercan
Yes.. copy and paste it...
My talents. http://eu.wowarmory.com/character-talents.xml?r=The+Maelstrom&n=Tercan
Again, Copy and paste..
anyways..

I'm 41/0/20, I love the sub tree and if I could handle the trouble of being a shadowstep spec again I would be.
But alas.. SS-Ambush don't do the kinda damage Cold Blood Envenom does..
Yeah, Mutilate Envenom Spec atm and I love it, except Mutilate kinda sucks at dmg unless target is poisoned.
And I really don't like opening the fight with a cheap shot- shiv- mutilate..
Cheap shot would ware before mutilate lights up and if I'm fighting a mage..
tough luck mage is gone or did something weird if I opened with silence garrote.

I'm 1 quest away from the Shadowmoon Valley leather helm of seeing or w/e it's called.

So, if anyone know's anyway I can improve my spec and pvp kill rate without having to go combat mace.
I would really like to hear what you have to say ^^.

I've been told my gear is decent before by other rogues, that I should upgrade the greens asap.
I've been working my @$$ off AV farming honor to the last week, got 3 upgrades to show for it.

I love my posions and envenom btw so don't you DARE try to take it away froom me..

cause I can't put 2 on my bar..

Get Whispering Blade of Slaying from Murmur in Shadow Labs...considered by many to be the best blue dagger in the game. Also check the ring of blood questline since it's dagger has good stats i think. The BEM dagger (crystal infused shiv??) has identical DPS to ced's with some stats as well.

There's others but that came to mind immediately.

P.S. If you have Consort rep the exalted dagger isnt bad although I hear its not worth the grind. But if you're pretty close than maybe you should consider it.

I already did the Ring of Blood quests and that dagger was a joke.
I got it, use'd it once, sold it.
Wasn't worth the hassle of RoB.

But Shadow lab's you say.. Hmm.. interesting.. very interesting.. ok not really.
but thanks :D
I'll see if I can get it,
Tho I only do abut 3 instances a day before I'm to pissed at pugs an people spamming me for boosts..
I'm serious.. 5 times outa 7, when I'm in a Instance, I get about 47 whispers by 47 different people asking me for a boost. It's annoying as hell..
Ok nevermind.

I'll check out Shadow Labs, see if i can score a dagger. thanks for the tip mate ^^

Yea rob is a pain without a serious group. by the time i did it i didnt need the damn dagger anyway. yea if you're running instances pretty regularly than WBoS is a good look. Also consider the KoT exalted blade (forgot that last time).
If you're loaded with gold and desperate the night blade has good dps...i hear that the proc rate blows now so beyond dps it wont be too useful.

I will check the spec and see what I can add (if any) pretty soon. There aren't many muti's left around here (/sniffle)

I probably missed this in your posts but what did you say your focus was? BGs, Arena, PvE..raiding 5man heroics etc.

It's been along day and my brain is in the red latency zone so forgive any ignorance written above.

Okay I would suggest taking the 3pts. in setup and moving them to serrated blades. Next, I would strongly suggest getting Find Weakness...there isn't a reason I can think of to go Muti and not get the 10% damage buff after finishing moves. I also would suggest Quick Recovery...the healing buffs is worth it alone but the energy recovery from a failed finishing move is cool also. Depending on your focus Imp. Evis. is pretty well worth it I think...but I could be mistaken on that piece of info.

Why would you post to ask people to rate your build, and then say you dont want to put points into combat? 41/20/0 is much better dps than 41/0/20. Btw, envenom usually blows.

I haven't had any problems with Envenom, Been doin awesome damage.
1.4k on Normal hits, 2-3k+ on crits. Anyways, I wasn't really askin to rate.
Was askin bout what i could do to make it better but I pprefer sub to combat, cub gives you the ability to avoid other rogues, combat doesnt.
I'm usually sappin rogues all over the place in AV, gettin them killed ;D

Envenom has no use other than using on trash, and then only as the last move you use on a mob.

Or in PvP to clear your DP before you gouge, but that's pretty stupid. No one is going to use DP in PvP.

Actually avoiding rogues appears to be more about skill and reflexes than you might imagine. I was 41/0/20 a short while ago (and even 48/0/13) and with The Master's Treads and Shadowmeld I was having fun sneaking rogues in Auchindon.

Then I switched to combat for improved DPS and I felt naked in the rain. Every rogue was sappin CS'n and otherwise getting me first. Then I started adjusting...using my camera more sensibly and efficiently. Using my targeting key better. Having a quicker finger on the draw...did I wanna CS or Sap. I started deciding quicker (its usually CS anyway but thas situational) and reacting quicker. I still wear The Master's Treads and ofc I have shadowmeld but I can sneak a human rogue with MoD now bc I react quicker and I scan better than before.

Don't let the MoD addiction take you man!!! Break free of your bondage to sub!:D

j/k man do what you want...just my 2c.
