I don't get it.. Instead of my enormous one pixel melee range starting in the center of my nelf cat form, it now apparently has moved to the head. Even worse, I seem to hear the "too far away" even more often than before...

Blizz trying to tell me that I need to respec to resto if I want to get anything done besides being the tanking-(b-word here) for 5-mans? Am I imagining things? "Pounce" seems to miss quite often now too, something I never had problems with before.

I'm clueless... Seems like the PvP fun has been taken out of my druid with this last patch for good.

....but nothing was changed in the patch.

my druid feels....exactly the same. if anything, id say you just had a bad streak of lag. or were facing people with bad lag (which is almost as bad, if not worse).

Are you playing a Tauren maybe?

Cat Form (Night Elf) melee attack range was too short compared to Tauren Cat Form and other attack ranges. It has been increased.

I don't see the increase. It's a decrease if anything. Granted, lag might be an issue now that there are actually 80 active players in AV BG, but I seem to have the range issue on smaller BGs like AB too. I played some arena last night, but since I don't play "ferally" there despite my spec, I can't tell if it is different there too.

hmm, ill try it on my NE druid. my main is a tauren yes, but i still play my nelf every now and then.

id still chalk it up to lag tho. the week following a patch tends to be kinda sketchy.

I get the "too far away" and "must be behind target" ALL the time, and ill says its not fair, its not fair to run after some fat *** enemy with our 30% extra kitty speed, and being told to bee too far away... and tbh, after that patch, it the same, no chance at all.. atleast not to me :/

To be honest, I've had more problems lately than before...I had multiple cases the other night where I'd be 'out of range' despite hitting them w/ normal strikes, but when I'd step forward it would then say "must be behind target" when trying to use Shred. D:

Walking backwards when a melee mob is on me it seems to help on this problem sometimes.Yes is pretty weird, because in my case it seems to be random.

I too have the issue with ''special attacks''. I'm almost glued to the *** of somebody who is trying to run away and still I can just hit him with white hits. Claw or Shred, not going to happen.

It can also be because you can move your character, and run at normal speed in a direction, and still hitting one behind you (something like that) but to the one behind, it will seems that the running character (often a hunter or someone that doesnt like to have a kitty-cat glued to them :P)is infront of you, and therefore we get that error saying we need to be behind... ive tried it a lot of times in arena and duels... sucks!
