assassination vs combatFollow

okay the subject has been mentioned many times but never directly assasination rogues using daggers or combat rogues using swords; who has the better dps? I play an assassination rogue albeit only lvl 42 and i still consistently top damage charts. What happens when i hit 70; should i respec i thought assassination was all about burst damage and that is what we want supposedly. Someone help me out and please people try and keep it civil.

It won't be kept civil because you did not ask any niche question, only something that isn't even addressed as an issue any more. Go read the stickies and lern yoo sumting good. Topping damage meters at 42 when you may be 2-5 lvls higher than another dps class counts for nothing.
