once more back to my drood....Follow

#1 Sep 27 2007 at 11:13 PM Rating: Decent
It's been quite a while since I last played WoW, (back in may,if I'm not wrong),as I didn't have enough time nor money to keep playing. Now, I'm back to college, and old habits came back too... :D

Now, I' m just wondering:

1 How many patches, addons, changes, upgrades, WHATEVER the name is, have been released?

2 Any notable changes regarding the druid,or same things still go?

BTW, sorry for these questions, but I really want to know what to expect when I'll get my druid pumpin' again.

I started WoW back in May when you took a break. I've seen three or four major patches come out since then.

What spec are you going to play? There are some changes to each spec that Blizzard tweaked in the patches.

I think the biggest change is 2.3 and it is still pending. There are promises of new trinkets, new gear, etc.

My spec is deep down into feral, at lvl 50. And I'd like to keep it this way. If they indeed changed some ....stuff,is there a site where I could see each patch and its changes?

Druids

* Cat Form (Night Elf) melee attack range was too short compared to Tauren Cat Form and other attack ranges. It has been increased.
* Cyclone: It is no longer possible to Cyclone two targets at the same time in the outdoor world.
* Cyclone: Paladin Auras, Trueshot Aura, and Aspect of the Pack will now be automatically reactivated when Cyclone wears off of a victim who had one of the abilities active.
* Enrage: If this buff is clicked off early, the armor penalty it causes will now be removed as well.
* Enrage and Furor should no longer initiate combat, though it will prevent rage decay for the duration.
* Entangling Roots: It is no longer possible to have Entangling Roots on two targets at the same time in the outdoor world.
* Entangling Roots: It is no longer possible to have more than one rank of this spell active on a player.
* Force of Nature: Using this spell in a neutral town will no longer cause its victim to be attacked by town guards. It also will no longer cause nearby party members to lose stealth.
* Hibernate and Entangling Roots duration against PvP targets has been reduced to 10 seconds.
* Hurricane: This spell is now affected by area damage caps. Its bonus damage coefficients have also been increased.
* Hurricane: A tooltip error in rank 3 has been corrected.
* Lacerate: The damage from this ability will now stack properly when two different characters are applying Lacerate to a target.
* Mangle: The duration remaining graphic will now display properly for Mangle after it has been refreshed on a target. It will also no longer sometimes apply the Mangle debuff to nearby targets when the Mangle victim is killed by Mangle.
* Nature's Grasp: This ability can now trigger while the Druid is sitting.
* Tree of Life: The party aura from this shapeshift now extends the full 40-yard radius as stated in the tooltip.

Thanks for the info... Damn, it sucks!

Hehe, just wanted to reply something... =)

By the way, that isn't all the changes they got, and it isn't all bad. Those you quoted were the stuff that are supposed to be happening anyway, except for the attack range of the kitties (They still NEED to be extended, Bliz!).

Barkskin now includes all damage as well, you can train GotW from NPCs, we get Epic Flight, we get a break from everything trinket (of course that also means that others can break out of Cyclone as well), hmm.... that should be about it....

And we a getting a few more from 2.3.0 as well, majorly being now that Warriors can be disarmed even when specced, meaning my teddy can MT more often?

2.3.0
The Restoration talent Intensity will be increased to 10/20/30% mana regeneration.
- Really GOOD.

Rebirth cooldown will be changed from 30 minutes to 20 minutes.
- means that we can use this in arenas?

Moonkin can cast Remove Curse.
- Not exactly groundbreaking, but hey.

Tree of Life Form can cast Cure Poison and Abolish Poison.
- Ooo wow, now IF they only lowered its cost to be like Cleanse, which can do so much more for so much less!

Tranquility will receive additional additional benefit from spell damage and healing bonuses.
-----
Also that 1/3 of +healing will be included in spell damage, a good buff for Restos.

And rumors of the T7 armor. Click Here

Arenas are <10m CDs, so still no Rebirth.

OP: What part of that in the most recent patch could you POSSIBLY read and think it sucks?

For that matter, have you even attempted to engage your own braincells at all since making this thread, or are you just looking for spoonfed feedback?

Hm, it seems I didn't read too well these changes...and the others... It seems that indeed it's not that bad after all. What "scared" me a bit was that I saw many changes on the balance tree, the one I thought about trying. Anyway, sorry for my ...stupid thread...(and grammar errors)
