Hello everyone!

my wife and I desided to return to WoW after about 8-mo absense. We tried several games during our off period, however none of them got us interested enough to start playing seriosly. Before we quit we used to play on a PvE server on Alliance side. I was a Priest (constantly respeccing from shadow to holy and back to shadow) and my wife was a Lock.
So said that, we desided to switch to Horde, PvP server and I desided to become a mage. As you can tell I have some basic knowledge playing a caster, so I tried to compose a descent PvP build. Could you look at it and let me know if anything/everything could be improved?

Thank you in advance,
XodoK

Edit: I can't believe I forgot the link to the build...

Your PvP build is quite good, but a few modifications could offer some improvement. If you plan to use Frostbolt as your primary damage spell (and I assume you do), then I would suggest dropping the 2 points in Elemental Precision and 3 points in Permafrost for the full 5 points in Empowered Frostbolt. It's not that Elemental Precision and Permafrost aren't good, but rather than Empowered Frostbolt is simply better. The 17/0/44 spec you have chosen is proven in PvP, and I believe you will find it to be quite effective. As another small suggestion, you may want to consider moving the 5 points from Improved Arcane Missiles, placing 2 in Arcane Sublety and 3 in Arcane Focus as you will probably not use missiles often without the empowered upgrade later in the tree. That said, I think you have a very solid build and I wish you luck.

http://www.wowhead.com/?talent=of0Ab0bZZVVGcobxsbqt i'd use that build gives you all the essentials and dampen magic helps reduce damage from casters, and as mages dont normally recieve any healing in bg's this helps.
