Just got done beating a 69 paladin in arena. It wasn't even close. The feeling after I won is one of the reasons I play WOW. Don't really have a topic, just felt like doing a little bragging and sharing after that win. I'm a lvl 66 frost mage. Elemental with ice lance is killer. She poped her bubble as soon as i summoned elemental. Once she popped her bubble I just ran away from her conserving mana until it faded. Then I blinked close to her - frost nova then ice lance - frost bolt. COC after that to slow her then ice bolt - fireblast then nova again and repeat. I only lost about a 1/3 of my hp.

That's cause mages beat paladins, if they aren't masters of LoS that is. Paladins are literally defenseless after you counterspell anything holy.

At 68 I did a skirmish arena.
There was, I guess, a 2v2 team in the making so I was fighting them 2v1, a pally and... a shaman.
I killed them both.
Then I laughed my *** off for about 5 minutes.

Kapot, your blowing my high - LOL. Point taken. I have beaten a lock once - 1 lvl lower than me.
The hunter with the super pet is harder for me. I have ice block and a trinket to deal with the DOTS and fear, but not being able to sheep or slow the huner super pet is a problem.

Once the hunter blows beatial wrath (red pet), run away and ice block. After that, they're really easy, just like any other hunter. I have problems with marksman spec because of silencing shot and scatter shot.
Hunters are going to get a lot more annoying by being able to dispell buffs with arcane shot.
