Curse gaming just released a client side updater (so you don't have to manually update your addons).

According to the description (from the link) this is a data collection tool for collecting statistics from your playing in WoW. Not an updating tool.

It updates your addons from curse as well. you don't have to have it collect data if you turn off those features.

Ok I just loaded this and ran it, and now all of my addons are out of date...
I spent an hour updating those yesterday...

Beware, the backup doesn't seem to work either. Maybe there's some sort of conflict on my system, because I can't see how they would release something in this state.
Luckily I just updated everything yesterday, so I still have the zips. I'll manually fix, but am awaiting a response from their support area.

everything should be out of date for probably up to a week.
