Good PvP combat buildFollow

#1 Sep 26 2007 at 4:53 PM Rating: Decent
Hello fellow rogues.
I was wondering if someone could give me some pointers
on a good combat build for PvP? I'm currently running with
one that seems to be working well, but i think it could be
a little better.
thanx

There was a great post on builds for everything on these boards. So before you get ruthlessly flamed for asking the number one most common question, heres the link:

Best of luck to you.

Actually that guide didn't mention the most popular high rated 5v5 spec, 19/42/0. http://www.wowhead.com/?talent=fheboxZGcV0rVt00GRt

I've been meaning to update that guide. I might get around to it this weekend (but probably not).

Actually, most high rated 5v5 rogues will use a spec like the one I'm sporting. Blade Twisting and Imp Poisons are a godsend in a 5v5.

What? That 15% of the top Rogues use Mut, versus the other like, 45% that use some combination of combat?

No. He said 20/41/0 was the most popular 5v5 spec. It looks pretty even as far as 5v5 goes, if not 19/42/0 is ahead. I didn't tally each one, just what it looks like to me.

Meaning Blade Twisting was taken by most of the top rogues. And in looking, oh hey, 90% of them have Blade Twisting!

So basically the best build for you will be the one you can play the best. Different builds require varying levels of skill, so if you can't play the build well, the build will play like ****. Hopefully your skills change over time so you may find that you change over time. The most common builds, like the ones mentioned here, have a proven track record backed by math and are safe bets.

PS I don't care how well you play, sub is not viable.
