FAQ in need of some love...Follow

Was just browsing through as my buddy is pushing me to grind my last bunch of levels on my shaman so we can get some arena happening, when to my surprise our class FAQ hasn't been updated since December!

That's before the expansion as we all know. Important info not included is info on 41 point talents, comments on the Alliance Drainei being Shamans, updated talent builds, and probably much more.

I guess Galanda has disappeared from Allakhazam?

Anyone up for the task of updating the FAQ and possibly getting a new sticky on the go?

Why not doing the same as the Hunter sticky, everyone cooperating to update the whole sticky (basically copying parts and updating them.)
Post the updated parts here, mention things that should be added and form it into 1 FAQ.

Lots of great info for end-game in http://elitistjerks.com/f31/t13297-enhance_shaman_collected_works_theorycraft_vol_i/ but there certainly seems to be a lack of info for newer Shamans.

I did a breakdown of talents for leveling enhancement in the thread in my sig, happy for that to be used/edited or whatever. I am leveling a new Shaman elemental atm so will be glad to do something similar for that in a few levels.

This is pretty important, as that "FAQ" is teh suck. No offence, as I'm sure it was fine pre-BC, but it hasn't been updated whatsoever since.

Seconded!

EDIT: I think the first step would be to UN-STICKY the FAQ that we have now. Newbie shamans will go there, and think "WTF is this??"

Once that's done, we can work together to create an updated FAQ.

I'm willing to take a crack at it but I am going to wait for 2.3 because it is going to change too much. Once I have experimented with some new builds I will start putting it together. I have a fair amount of Enhancement and Resto experience but so far have not experimented with Elemental so much at endgame so any volunteers to work with me on that aspect of it would be appreciated.

There is a great Resto Shaman guide on the net (link). It's almost all end-game stuff, but there are so few Shamans leveling Resto anyways, that isn't too important.

Also, "A Restoration Shaman's Guide to Gear", which are on our own beloved Alla forums, is a great guide -- thank you Baelnic!

Waiting for 2.3 is a great idea, as (like you said) so much will change with that patch. Just as an example, the Grounding Totem changes -- or the Elemental coefficient changes -- are all huge.
