I am a BM Hunter, I raid a little and usually 5 mans. My current build is cookie cutter BM dps build. 41/20 as you can see in armory. I was thinking of dumping Improved aspect of the hawk and getting something else and improved revive so far hasn't proven to be useful at all. Thinking of getting endurance at max and thick hide, because I feel kinda uneasy with my pets less of a survivability, I was fully BM a little while ago.

go for 3 points into improved hawk and ignore thick hide? I am still not too sure about if putting any points into hawk does much if at all. My bow speed is 2.90 if that matters and my tool tip shows me at 2.10.

Aspect of the hawk (5/5) is an average of ~6% increase in dps.
So its quite solid.
And your pets more Armor wont help it in heroics/raiding.
While you may not have noticed yet, as soon as you raid you simply cant allow your pet to be dead and rezzing without imp. res isnt an option.
Though if you really want to shine in 5-mans as well as in (early) karazhan try 0/21/40 (add the last point to either wyvern sting, resourcefullness or survivalist. whatever you prefer)
Its undeniably the best option for 5-mans and heroics and its a build that does well even well into 25-mans (SSC like stuff)
