I think you are ready for Kara. It is surely not the "best" gear, but if you try to get it, you will first see Kara with Release of "Wrath of the Lich King". Go for Kara an have fun.

So Long.

Get thee to Kara!

Gear wise you are ready to lend some considerable support for a Kara run, spec wise....you may wanna think about it.

an MM or Surv (though your agility is a little low for it) would help out a Kara run better than BM Spec IMO. (Here come the flames)

BM specs may be able to deliver a bit more DPS but that is going to be Dependant on your pet. There are going to be some fights in Kara where your pet is just gonna bite it to quickly.

There certainly aren't any pet unfriendly parts in the first part of Kara (Attumen - Curator) Your spec is raid viable, and arguably the highest possible PVE DPS spec there is. Although I'd respec a little so you had Imp Revive Pet. It's the difference between being able to combat-res your pet, and not. Which is a big thing in raids.

I'm not sure why you have Bestial Swiftness unless you have a pet without Dash, and even then, it's not going to help in Kara. You also want Animal Handler. Most people just see the mounted speed increase and think it's a waste of points. However, it is the only way to increase your pet's hit rating. There is no reason for a raiding BM Hunter to not want their pet's hit rating maxxed.

I roll with this spec. It may not be perfect, but I think it works well for endgame PvE.

Gearwise, I'd personally drop some AP in favour of getting your crit up a bit, but I see no reason you can't go to Kara as-is. You're better geared than I was when i started.

I'd recommend dropping 1/3 thick hide for 1/3 endurance training on Rasen's build, mainly because AoE's are generally non-physical damage. Other than that, that's pretty much the BM build I would go for.

Aethien's post Pre-Raid Gear, Tip's and Tricks has some information on it about half-way down that includes benchmarks you may wish to achieve. In it, he says 7k HP, 6.5k mana, 1700 AP, and 20% crit (that's for a BM hunter). He also mentioned these are a bit high.
I think overall you're about at that point. You have barely less mana, a bit more health, and slightly less AP and crit than recommended (especially if you put up AotH).

I think your crit chance is fine, as you should pop GFtT about once every 6 seconds (your pet shouldn't burn through focus faster than that with BD up unless you got a WS).

So, I have one recommendation and one question.
Recommendation: Go with the build recommended by Rasen, maybe making the change I suggested.
Question: What pet are you using?

I went without Legacy of course, everything else in my gear was the same, and I would have to say I was WAAAAY overgeared, kept pulling aggro all the time and was running 25% of total damage done... in a raid...

Almost everything I have is crafted or drops in a lowbie dungeon, you might want to check it out.

I'd say perfect your spec to this.
amd switch out some gems/enchants,
shoulders, +8AP/+4 crit and shoulder enchant (scryers Honoured)
Bracers i would go for 8Ap/2Mp5, same for the belt blue socket
Legs just 3x +16 AP
Boots +12 agi enchant
And for trinkets try to get Hourglass of the unraveller instead of the insignia (Bladefist's breadth is good too).

That will give you the following change:
-320 HP, +32 AP, +2.45% (hourglass) or +2.15% (bladefist) crit and +4Mp5.
Wich leaves you with 7280 HP, 1559 unbuffed AP (1714 AP with hawk), ~19.13 or ~18.83% crit and 20 Mp5 while casting.
Wich is so very close to the perfect pre-kara stats that your gear will be good enough to do kara and with a few improvements to start 25-mans.

Oh, and just to add, you have good enough gear to start kara now, so you dont need to replace all those gems right now.
Especially with the bracers i wouldnt be in a hurry because Attumen regularly drops nice hunter bracers.
Shoulders are attainable at Opera (all variations and with a 20-25% chance to drop i think) so depending on your guild you might not want to bother with enchanting/regemming those.
However, i would advise you to start farming some serious Scryer rep (run heroic mech every time you can for both the scryer goodies and the epic gloves at the end and heroic Bot for the boots+scryer stuff) because you need at the least the honoured enchant and you really want the exalted one on your shoulders.

So Good luck and enjoy Karazhan!

lol I've just upgraded My Shoulders...

Any Good? (I still hvae the beast Lord just incase)

I have the Bladefist Breadth, but obviously i use the Insignia for Areana. (Arean with 2v2, 3v3 and 5v5 group im with)

At the moment we've lost our main healer, he's moved to another server, (or moving) so we are waiting a main healer at the moment.

(any on Karazhan server, more than welcomed to join us)

Any good?

yeah, these shoulders will do =P
Even though they have a shortage of mana and an overload of HP for PvE, they'll last you till after karazhan.
Other advise still stands though, try running as many heroic TK's as you can because all 3 have a sweet epic at the end for hunters.
Mech > gloves, Bot > boots and Arc (or heroic hillsbrad) Legs.
Although i would forget about Arcatraz heroic and just go for either merciless or a kara(/gruul) drop..... because those are way easier =P

edit: and if i were you i'd try to creat seperate sets for PvE and PvP.
(get a crystalforged for PvP etc) even i have a partial PvP set and i dont even PvP more then once in a blue moon with some friends.
That allows you to focus more on Stamina for PvP and more on Dps for PvE.
Ofcourse, some pieces that overlap like the merciless shoulders (or crossbow or whatever) arent bad, but to much and you'll get to low HP for PvP and to low MP for PvE.

(just saying that because you are still wearing the same gear as with the other trinket, and you focus a lot on +sta. If you have 2 seperate sets, just ignore this ;) )

I have a few bits and Bob's more focused towards PVP.. (IE The Axe Crystalforged) etc etc... but at the moment we basically trying to find a PUG Healer, and being unsuccessfull, we also has a druid healer but isn't quite up to gear/ready to start healin heroic's or anythig.

I helped slave Bog's with a friend (Low 64 Mage) and relise now the difference between power, a huntard and a Decent hunter. We had a 67 Hunter with us, who also was spec'd BM, but i never seen his CAT do anything, it was always by his side.

But we didnt wipe and we got through it pretty fast/well. But i can see NOW that becoming a Good Hunter is so much hard work and Deadication!!
hat's off you to fell's!
